Incredibly helpful and just what I was looking for. It is great for comprehensible input. After learning the stories, I then try to rewrite them my self by having the English version and writing to (hopefully) match what is written in Mandarin. I learn new works and Hanzi characters incredibly fast this way. Thank you!
Yeah! You discovered a very tedious but effective way to re-process the words and characters m- type the story out. I ask some of my students to do this kind of exercises too! Bravo!

These are 最好的！ I use mandarin bean a lot but will try the others. I also use the free apps Hello Chinese and Hello Talk that lets you chat/text with people in China.
Those 2 apps are also very helpful. You really have all the best resources to learn Chinese.加油！
I noticed at YesChinese it took me to a different web site so I typed 中文天下and I brought me to the site you were showing. However I couldn’t find the free stories but just a lot of options to buy things. I did try HSK reading which is great!!

In English sharp means like 锋利 but for the brain. Sharp people are smart, decisive, but not necessarily moral. A card sharp is a card cheat so yeah sharp doesn't imply good. Character means a person, a type of person. A sharp character is someone smart.
Hahaha, 谢谢你！ "not necessarily moral" whose moral are we talking about anyway. In Chinese, a similar expression might be 敏锐 to describe someone who has a sharp mind, easily see things through.
