Love the Ghost Tacchini outfit. I didn't really connect with either emcee verses. Beat? Marvelous. I would have loved to hear what maybe a Ghost with Raekwon back in the 90s would've did to it. I'm not sure if what Ghost is saying at this time really means anything more than just being a legend still able to put bars together. It has to really move us like his early work did. I don't feel that when I hear the 90s emcees put work out now. Nas can. A few others but mostly it's like idk...the mystique is gone. I hate to be critical of one of my favorites in Starks (saw them live in DC with Nas amazing show), dunno the other cat but can't hit a homerun every time out. If you think it's me bugging go listen to Supreme Clientele. It's still one of the best rap albums I ever heard. Still to this day. Every joint on that LP grabs you. It holds you hostage. That's the rap I yearn for. It doesn't get made these days too often. From nobody. Right? Like hearing 36 Chambers you wanted to hear that everyday. Play songs on repeat. Music today? It's just songs.
