Zuko's actor is hitting it out of the park with this! He is showing how conflicted Zuko is, in the original cartoon he just sort of came off as a angry and bitter kid, this version is showing the conflict between what he expected to and his compassionate nature.

I totally agree! The actor is honestly so good and really bringing so much emotion to the character 😩 a lot of people are overlooking him! He def needs more credit

This episode is my favorite out of the whole season. The composer for the series score actually started Zuko's musical themes with that scene where all his crew bow to him because he wanted to culminate the peak of that theme there and then work backwards with the buildup to it. I can't freaking hear it without ugly crying. Takeshi Furukawa (the composer) is amazing, and Dallas Liu is a national treasure. Zuko's always been my favorite character, along with his OG voice actor Dante Basco, but I can't deny Dallas manages to hurt me on all new levels, lol.
