Hello gud to see u are recovering well I broke my ankle in 2008 in too places still is not right but Im gud.. Anyway thanks for the great videos.. Cody and team
My brother hit a dump truck and broke his in two places. Amazing he was able to recover from it. The fact that he lived in the first place was amazing.
FWIW.......I am sending to you every powerful healing thought that I can muster. You deserve to get better, and I sense that you will recover completely. You will be fine!!!
Cody, as a physician AND a patient (both total knees and a little back surgery), don’t worry too much about a total hip replacement. The recovery from a total hip is probably less time than a broken one. I play tennis with a guy who had a total hip years ago. He’s 90 years old and slowing down a bit now, but he can play tennis, and chainsaw in the woods, with the best of them. In the hands of a good surgeon, not much to worry about. And it sounds like you have that covered. Man, I wanted to come through the screen and help you with that countertop.
A gun? In the workshop? Watching videos from around the world, it can come as a surprise to see what people in foreign countries view as normal practice. I guess that's the beauty of RUclips. It exposes you to other cultures and ways of doing things that you'd never normally think about.
And we true Americans thank God every day for the freedom to have a gun in the workshop, if you want to. Hoping, of course, that we never have to use it. That gun is a symbol for us; that some rights (like freedom of speech and self protection) are granted by a power higher than an individual’s government. I can’t speak for Cody, but I’ll bet my paycheck that he would agree.
I’m only34 years old and I’m a stay at home dad due to medical reasons and my wife is the primary breadwinner for my family. It’s 2022 there’s no shame in being married to a strong women that can do what needs to be done to keep the bills paid and the kids fed ✌️
Against the wind.....what a classic way to end a wonderful video!!! Hope you're back on your feet soon, and when you are, you're going to have to build a pedestal for that stool!!!! 😆
Another great video as always, Ive always liked to listen to your input on things and different situations and your stories, glad to hear you are doing better!
I have been watching ur videos since probably 2010 and even I’m shocked that u just made a 16 minute video on a piece of wood that no one will ever see. well done sir well done 🤣
Cody, considering your situation, that you have the presence of mind, determination, persistence to plan and change camera angles, work and record the progress, carry a benchtop on you lap while traversing the shop on your rolling seat, then edit and post the video...Good Lord, you are an inspiration. May God bless you and yours.
The hardest part of being in you 50s is remembering how you are NOT in your 30s. Wait until you are in your 70s. All the things that you know how to do but have no business trying to do.( anything involving ladders comes to mind.)
That's great news at 11:48 , glad to see you getting around better ! I see the fire still burning in the wood stove . It's turned summer time in south Indiana , had 85 F degree temps all week . How are the temps in your area , cool 30 something mornings and maybe 70 F in the afternoon ?
I really appreciate you saying that about wives. My wife and I work from home, and homeschool our kids. But I do most of the homeschooling, because she loves her work, and makes more money than I do. What am I supposed to do? Tell her to stop being so brilliant and successful? All the best.
That board is definitely not moving. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I really like using those teklok lag screws. So much quicker and easier than traditional lags. Also, Glad to hear you are healing up well.
I would love a setup like this, but dont have the wall space.. Im looking at building one for those 2x4 laminated work benches, but I need to put it on wheels so I can move it around.. Those tool boxes really make a big difference too! just having the tools organized like that just feels good.
Cody, we don't see eye to eye on everything (and that's ok), but a man who talks to and is kind to cats, and is trusted by a cat, is a good man. Take it easy on that hip. Better to let it heal completely and put off some projects than have it bother you the rest of your life.
12:58 it’s not about “man versus woman” but teamwork. Like a chain… one link is only as effective as the link next to it. Many troubled relationships i see involve one or two people who insist on being “strong individuals”.

This is good to hear, nonetheless, I'd prefer to keep the one I have,
you've got the shop everyone wishes they had
the amount of hardwork you put in making these videos is seriously amazing, love your videos cody!
I love your content today ! Getting back to doing the old school wrangler wood working content!! Amazing! Thank you
Glad you enjoy it!
That pulls away was playing tricks in my eye. It looked transparent with the mirrored reflection.
Did anyone else get the illusion that his saw was transparent when cutting to length? The reflection of the blade made it appear clear.
Another great video as always, Ive always liked to listen to your input on things and different situations and your stories, glad to hear you are doing better!
I really like how you break all your edges.
Thanks for the insight bro, hope you're well!
Glad you're feeling better Cody, just take it easy.
I have been watching ur videos since probably 2010 and even I’m shocked that u just made a 16 minute video on a piece of wood that no one will ever see. well done sir well done 🤣
Thanks for watching!
Thank you , brother,
Much love Cody! Heal up, prayers for you and your family
Thank you for your wisdom
Nice video. I loved it. 🤙🏼
The hardest part of being in you 50s is remembering how you are NOT in your 30s. Wait until you are in your 70s. All the things that you know how to do but have no business trying to do.( anything involving ladders comes to mind.)
Great videos! Love that G19x!
I love momma cat
Momma ❤❤❤❤❤, treats and tummy rubs.
Nicely said. Thanks
God bless you Cody and your hole family
Good thing you don't need a hip to run that excavator! It's about time to get the ol' girl out for the season.
That board is definitely not moving. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I really like using those teklok lag screws. So much quicker and easier than traditional lags.
Also, Glad to hear you are healing up well.
Prayers for the leg👏
I would love a setup like this, but dont have the wall space.. Im looking at building one for those 2x4 laminated work benches, but I need to put it on wheels so I can move it around.. Those tool boxes really make a big difference too! just having the tools organized like that just feels good.
Irwin now makes a saw just like the KERYE saw would make a nice side by side comparison 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Cody a good project could be making Mama Kitty a nice cat tree something she could sleep in an sharpen her claws on.
Cody, we don't see eye to eye on everything (and that's ok), but a man who talks to and is kind to cats, and is trusted by a cat, is a good man.
Take it easy on that hip. Better to let it heal completely and put off some projects than have it bother you the rest of your life.
Animals don't lie,
12:58 it’s not about “man versus woman” but teamwork. Like a chain… one link is only as effective as the link next to it.
Many troubled relationships i see involve one or two people who insist on being “strong individuals”.
Momma cat is just “helping” lol. My dog try’s to help mostly just eating the shavings.
Excellent news over your health!
Isn't it crazy that in today's world a traditionalist is an "extremist"! Keep up the good work wranglestar and prayers on your healing!🙏🇺🇸
