So when you say will cut “up to” 18 g wire (for blue handled cutter) does that include 18g or should I use heavier duty cutter?

So if you cut handmade jump rings with these, would they give the same results as using a jewellers saw?

These are razor cut and super clean and sharp. However, you need jump ring cuts to be super flush, which no cutter is a true flush cutter. You would probably need to file a little after using cutters.
