If you imported it as a PNG sequence, You could of just the wire remover in after effects and saved you a lot of time.

Wouldn't the masking be easier in photoshop prior to importing the images in After Effects?

I’ve tried doing photoshop and, for me, it takes a lot longer- I also like the option of being able to play it back real time so I can make sure everything looks good with the masking. Do you have a way you do it in photoshop that works better?
