Maybe good to mention that when you do not see the option for the mega-menu bar, delete your current menu bar choose a new horizontal bar, and follow the same steps. Now you should be able to see the option for the mega-menu bar 🙂

We are not able to find Mega Menu option on our option list after advanced site menu thing. Any more help?
The Mega Menu option does not show if you are using a themed template menu. Add a new horizontal menu, follow the steps in this video, and it will work.

Yeah I don't have the mega menu option either
You can create new Sub Menus inside the Mega Menu so you don't need to use buttons.
The new Sub Menu you add inside the Mega Menu allows you to hide pages you don't want and show only the pages you do need in that new Sub Menu, and at the same time doesn't affect the Main Menu you added in your header, this is all part of the new advanced menu system.
You add the New Menu as though you were any other time you are creating your new website place it where you need it (anywhere), go into its settings change to Advance Menu and this is where the magic happens for creating your new Menus, that don't affect the Main Menu.
Is there a way to make the same mega menu apply to all of the main menu items? Or would I need to copy each one?
Is it possible to adjust the mega menu size to custom size and reposition it? Instead of just stretch
great video ive a quick question you might be able to help me with i have a twitch feed in a one 1 of my sites that for it to play you have to press play is there a way i can add a button (play } hide the so when button is pressed the audio streams from twitch but you cant see where stream is coming from as wix only lets you steam for a hour and my work around was to embed twitch player but i really dont want it working like that ,,hope you could help many thanks p
I have the mega menu, but when I add a button and copy paste it, I can't move it around in the container. it's fixed somehow. Hope you can help!

Hello, is there any way we can make the mega menu clickable instead of just hover and drop down menu?
Thanx for posting this video, though I have a question about one issue that has occurred. So, while I click on the link inside opened mega menu, mega menu should then disappear (or close) but it stays opened. And after testing with users, I saw it's very annoying.. Do you know how to prevent it? Thank you
When I add a mega menu to the site (full screen width), a horizontal scroll bar appears at the bottom and the container is shifted to the right. This is also noticeable in the video. If switch to narrow mode, then in general some kind of horror. 😱

I'm having trouble with keeping my heading line in alignment with menu items... When I do the mega menu option, I want to add that pretty line you added at 4:48 - except I want the line to simply be the length of my MAIN menu that I'm adding the mega menu drop down option for, not the whole page (if that makes sense?). Like when people navigate to the section I have a drop down menu for (as in hovering over the specific menu item), I want a line to appear underneath the entire length of the main menu. Under that line, I want the sub menu to appear.
I noticed the line moves / doesn't stay in alignment with the rest of the main menu items depending on how I resize my browser window when I'm in preview mode. It does not stay in alignment with the items in my mega menu nor with my main menu. This tells me if someone goes to my site and is using a large screen, they might have a totally wonky view. How do I fix that?
EX: (for visualization purposes)
Main menu = Home / Company / Services / Contact Us
*hover over "Company"* >> line appears and stretches the length of the main menu (this is the line that moves out of alignment depending on window size)
>>Submenu appears under "Company" and aforementioned line = About Us / Why Us? / In the News

Basically you have to delete the menu u have then add a new horizontal menu

It's a bêta option, soo you have to register as beta tester to get access to these options

Please when I set the avance menu on my ebsite it says add subtitle menu and not mega menu and when I do it just crate a new item wihout the container. how do i fix this please?
You need to delete your current menu and add a new horizontal menu then you will find the mega menu option
Are mega menus only for paid plans? I already added advance menus twice and nothing. Thanks for help..
This feature may still be in beta. If you do not want to wait for the feature to be released fully, you can join the beta program. We recently released a video about it!
How do you make the regular top pf the page menu scale properly? (Not the mega menu), all the elements keep getting squished, how do I make the text scale?
If you are using the classic Wix editor, then you will not be able to. Text scaling is a feature for the Wix Studio editor. For the classic editor, you will have to use Strips and split them into columns for your content in order for them not to get squished. There are videos here on the channel about using Strips in the classic editor that you can check out! Hope this helps.
@@wixfix It's on WIX Studio. It's only behaving appropriately when I set it to fixed. When I set responsive behavior to relative width this is where menu elements overlap each other for some reason.
Hey! Is it possible to create a mega menu for each item in the nav bar? I can only figure out how to create new items, but can't figure out how to attach a mega menu to existing nav bar items. Thanks!

Hey thank you. I wait long for this Video. I have put many menues in the mega menu, not buttons. Is it better to put buttons in the mega menu to load faster or doesn’t matter?
I would say this depends on the design your going for. Realistically it doesn't matter too much. Adding menu elements may be easier to be honest.
Hi. I need help. Once I change my menu to an advanced menu when trying to add a mega menu, I don't get the mega menu option. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?
Hey! I ran into the same issue before. Some horizontal menus don't include the mega menu option. If you click on Add Elements -> Menu -> Horizontal Menu and select one of the options, those menus should have the mega menu.

Can you add different pictures that change as you hover over options?
If you mean different mega menu options, yes. But if you mean different options within the mega menu, you can accomplish it with Velo code.

Hi @@nuzeguy1 I found the answer. You need to put a menu from the "Horizontal menu" options. I dont know why, but the others doesn't has the mega menu option. Hope this helps you

I've never entered into the marketplace. I have heard mixed things about it, to be honest. I think it depends on where you are in your journey. If you are just starting out, then it may be a decent place to get leads. But if you're already established, then you probably won't use it much.
I know Wix offers a paid plan that grants you access to the marketplace even before you reach the marketplace level in the partnership program, but I have heard that it isn't worth going that route. Best to get clients outside of Wix and build up to the marketplace organically.
