Saw glimpses of last year leeds, creating lot of chances by good fast play and counterattacking. Today the finishing was just off. Cant blame bielsa for this draw.

Enjoyed every minute of Leeds vs St. Maximin! First half had me stood up loving it! We were the dominant side, we just need to tidy up finishes and maybe give more of the u23's more game time. Cresswell should have been on and they should have given Dan James longer to work with summerville instead of putting Ty on. Very entertaining to watch though 👀 MOT 💙💛💙💛

We played some excellent football on Friday night 🌃 yeh we should of won the match but at least we got a point. Cooper and Rodrigo both Top notch , Dan James had an excellent game can see why Mr Bielsia wanted him, Patrick Bamford play's Up front by his self which is hard . The lad does so much for the team. The Peacocks 🦚 supporter's were magnificent up at Newcastle over 3.000 singing to the end loud and proud also touching tribute to Gary Speed I heard the Peacocks 🦚 supporter's signing out his name was listening on Radio Leeds Top notch Ladies and Gentleman could hear you loud and proud. He's not the greatest manager in the world. For someone to sell Hernandez then have no one in midfield to replace him is stupid. So then we end up with Roberts who is woeful. And Bamford may work hard but he can't score goals. He just isn't a good centre forward. They won't win anything with Bamford playing up front. To win things he needs to score goals in crucial games. Bamford can't score goals in normal games. You're living in dreamland. Come back in 10 years time and see if I'm right. And yes, I am a Leeds supporter, as long as you have been, but a realist unlike yourself of course, so dream on and keep bullshitting yourself. That’s what I love about the Prem, consistency builds and not one single moment is so detrimental IF consistency is there. I hope Bielsa gets them in the bag this year.

Firpo had a pretty decent game. Sometimes just does some shaky defending. James has been here for the best part of a week. Usually our new players have at least a month before they start playing regularly. It will take a few weeks to learn the way we play and have the fitness levels.
Firpo will get it together, he just needs time. He hasn't played much in 2 years. Let him get some confidence and grow into the team. I think if we play rodrigo we have to have klich in there to help him. It's a real shame we didn't get Gallagher as we need someone like him in the middle. I now understand why bielsa was going for him or Lewis o brien, even nandez. We need a strong midfielder in the park. A playmaker would be great but every forward leaning player leaves a gap that other teams exploit. Newcastle had too much fkn space in the middle. We don't have the legs we had last year at all
What is VAR for if it misses the stonewall penalty for James after 25 minutes
They don't even bother turning VAR on unless it's one of the big 6 playing.

As united fans, i really like the way leeds play, fast counter attacking play through the wings, reminds me of united in the 90s.. but i think sometimes bielsa was too stubborn to play defensive when needed.. i mean he chose to keep attacking when they should defend..
Not defending and dropping deep are two different stuff lad, we press high and hard and relentless, that's our defence system..

It looks like everyone learned a few lessons. Great another away point. Sommerville great debut, looks dangerous, Shackleton buzzed good energy combined well, Stu Dallas is great because he is so adaptable but it’s hard to play consistently well in a particular position if you’re constantly rotated. Robert’s overplayed or played the wrong pass way too often. ‘Looked like he was overcompensating because of his “wing/wide role”. Firpo, Struijk and Meslier great additions. 3 solid draws and the introduction of more youth great. When we get the belief and everyone has clicks again “we will go on another run”. Anyone can beat anyone “we haven’t figured out how to beat them all consistently yet.”😂😎🇦🇺

thats the sad fact. when you go up to the prem you need knew players, 3-5 at least, which we did buy, 2nd season you need another 3-5 players, which we didnt buy, only 2. we should have bought another center def (cooper isnt prem quality, LLorente is a horse with a broken leg, Koch isnt suited for English football and Pascal is still very young), center mid and attacker to give Bamford more competition.
We've been absolutely awful this season. Carry on defending like this and we are going down

Here is the main issue.
What should be forward passes are all going behind players and vital attacking seconds are lost.
They need urgent training on passing to attacking players and where to place the ball.
Watch how many times the attack fails due to incorrect passing and the attacker has to go back and get the ball.
Its a training issue and it needs sorting quickly, it gives them seconds to get defenders back i place and the attack stops dead.

Glad to see summerville get some gametime even tho only couple minutes. A lot of people dissing Firpo here but personally think this was his best game yet. Gotta remember laliga to premier league is one of the hardest transitions to make in the top flight. Played well but the couple chances Pat and Rapha missed in the second half were shocking. But not a bad game giving only one goal considering not having either llorente or struijk.

With three points very much still in view, off goes Raphina?? He's currently the most likely to take his chances. Was he injured or something? So many chances towards the end, but no one there to finish. Chance after chance in the first half, but no one could take them. A great point for Newcastle, two points lost for Leeds against lowly opposition (again). I hope something changes soon. The opportunities are being created. Can't fault the supply line this time, but the end products were woeful.

Not good enough, this season have looked very poor and a different team to last year, with the injuries etc not looking good considering after west ham we have quite an easy run minus a few games
after watching the first 5 games this season, I wouldnt call any game easy, except maybe for home against Norwich. we will have problems with Wolves and Watford, Fulham in the cup wont be easy and West Ham will make us look foolish.
