Great to see a young lad getting stuck in and actually working on a project well done .just one thing you have fitted the clutch lever arm on the wrong way round .the curve goes in towards the gearbox 👍🏻

I use off cuts of acrylic sheet on the good side when using JB Weld, would have worked well on the outer edge of your gearbox casing to give something to work to. I am amazed at how good JB Weld is at getting over problems, I was wondering how you were going to do that repair, should do the job nicely.
Looks like your Dad is now redundant!
