In terms of pure style for me Charlotte is the best very well put together her looks are always cohesive and fit the occasion effortlessly, she uses color and plays with timeless clothes so gracefully, and Samantha really knows what suits her and she expresses what she wants to accomplish through her outfits she is determined and sensual and she isn't scared of showing it, using vibrant reds to neutral colors, incorporating pretty well lots of textures and patterns in her outfits showing the spectrum and complexity of her personality, things most women hide because of society's expectations on us to be certain ways. I advocate using whatever you want: blue lipstick or a cute pink skirt. Style is a way of expression don't be afraid to show yours, love u

all of the office style outfits in this video made me think of how i would love to see a workwear video! especially geared towards those of us who don’t usually flatter traditional business formal clothes. for example, im short, curvy, and have narrow shoulders. finding flattering work clothes for my body is so hard!

At the beginning of the video I guessed that Charlotte would have your favourite style! I've only seen the first two seasons of SATC but I love Carrie's style so far - I do think a lot of its charm is to do with SJP's physicality and charisma, though. She has a real presence to her and carries herself in such a way that makes anything she wears look great. I really liked Miranda's style in S1 when it was more androgynous, but I feel like the often more feminine lines she wears in S2 don't suit her so much. This was really fun to watch and has reminded me I need to start S3!
Great analysis! I always wondered what their Kibbe body type might be and I find it odd that SJP and Kim are both FN, having such different bodies, but I kind of get it. Both are frame dominant.
I think Kim looks more Dramatic than FN, and you can really tell when she stands between Carrie & Miranda (both FNs imho). She has that sharp Yang in her frame, so different from the soft Yang of the other two women. I think her stature ressemble Cate Blanchett's or Angelica Hudson's.

Totally relate, loved Samantha the most as a character, but always felt like a Charlotte. Also, Mannequin is such a fun movie. Can't say I relate to the fashion of any of the characters, though I do think they all looked great in their styles, especially Samantha. Her saying "I am 50-f*cking-2 and I will rock this dress" to an ageist salewoman while rocking the biggest YSL earrings I've ever seen will always be one of my favourite fashion tv moments of all time
My favourite character has got to be both Samantha and Carrie. I love both characters in different ways, I love Samantha's confidence, freedom , sex appeal and strength and I love carries creativity , love for fashion and wit. I really relate to Carrie's creativity, how she processes and thinks about situations, emotions etc in her head a lot , how she compulsively purchases clothes and shoes and bags , loves to have her own space and her playful energy . In a lot of ways Carrie is me ,we even share the same name

Fun video :-) Charlotte’s style is so much like yours, and Miranda’s (incl. her body type) are so much like mine (though I think I reorder them as my style is much more relaxed in general). Despite the verification etc, I would absolutely have said SJP is FG because her features are so pointy & bone-based. Interesting that my style roots are Sun, Stone and Fire but my shoe of choice are trainers. I have many. My fav character for fashion was always Carrie, more because Pat Fields did such a great and iconic work on her. She knew how to style according to the background scene, character and situation.Thank you for recognising how relaxed her fits were compared to the films. Even in season 6 when Burger dumped her and they all go to the club, the deconstructed, grey tunic she wears has a relaxed but dressy vibe and I love it.

I think Carrie was sun/flower/stone. That makes sense to me - there is a strong element of girlishness to her outfits (lots of pinks, frills, florals, flowing shapes) moreso than the overt sexiness we see in Samantha’s.

But like I said, she probably has 4 roots since she’s so all over the place, and Fire would definitely be the fourth.

I have no idea how to apply it to myself and I think having a name for it (I.e. how you have the name “mountain” or “fire”to describe a bunch of different aspects in style roots, whereas you are listing the aspects with the body matrix “narrow, medium, straight”) helps in understanding. I really appreciate you going through the trouble of creating something more concrete than Kibbe’s system, I was just wondering if you might do another video breaking it down? Xx🩷
Favorite style is Charlotte, then Samantha because I love their looks and I feel I'm a combination of both with my fire, flower and mountain style roots but Carrie has some standout moments I love. Favorite character is probably Samantha.
Personal preference! I just finished the show for the 6th time. I do love Carries style and she has an amazing figure. Charlotte also has a lovely figure, but hers is more womanly and curvy. I love her classic style. I prefer Carries shoes but I could never wear those. Not a fan of the shoes Charlotte wears but theyre generally a bit more practical
Charlotte and Samantha for me. I rewatched the series and find Carrie fashion style very tacky, low-class and some of her fashion choices didn't stand up the time very well. Miranda's style is a working women, not having time for being a fashionista, apparently not caring that much to be one and the only thing she was letting to stand out, was her ginger hair color. Casual, strict suits, natural makeup, clean skin.
Could you do a video on how to determine straight medium and round in the body matrix? I’m having trouble figuring out which I am. I’m a FN but have always had a big butt and hips, and C cups. But I can’t tell which I am.
Samantha was the reason I watched the show. Charlotte was my second favorite. I thought Carrie's behavior was ridiculous even if her style was iconic. It would be fun to type the SATC men, too, because so many men I know are trying to find their Kibbe types and style roots.
I think Miranda is mainly Mountain and Stone, when she’s out of office she wears a lot of sporty clothes and doesn’t care how put together she looks then. But maybe that’s only in the earlier seasons 🪨🏔️
I’m a mix of Miranda and Charlotte lol. Miranda for colors (because I am a deep autumn and work in an office) and Charlotte for softer shapes, materials and fabrics because we share the same Kibbe body type. I envy the ladies who can pull off a good pants suit! I look so stiff in it and I look like I’m playing in my moms closet. If I need to be business formal, I will opt for a tea-length dress! 😂😂 So at work I try to be Miranda, and everywhere else I am Charlotte in a neutral palette 😆
Architectural design and furniture is built around anthropometric averages ie the average human, so your chair is best suited to a short man or a tall woman. A tall man would easily have issues with it too

Nope Carrie just wore most random BS. Some outfits were killer others complete trash. Samantha was very stylish but I always preferred Charlotte's wardrobe bc I'm more classic. Miranda had her moments but definitely missed the mark
Charlotte and Samantha had the best style. We have classic sophistication with sexy boldness. Miranda and Carrie's fashion sense was always abhorrent. Do I admit Miranda's fashion got better as the showing on, while Carrie's was better in the beginning and got worse.
SJP can pull off a lot of styles and has a very fit body. also the stylist was very talented. That's why Carrie's outfits looked good. A different actress would look rather clown-ish in those pieces.
I don’t see anything medium or muted about Cynthia Nixon (young), I think she is a Spring. See her with her natural light blond hair color or in season 2 with copper hair- better than Autumn tomato.

My wife and I recognize plenty of the individual pieces she wears throughout the show and we are always like: WTF are you doing Carrie?!? Funny how this video decided to show us the most conventional and less “””experimental””” of her outfits in order to trick us she dresses well.

Charlotte and Samantha for me. I rewatched the series and find Carrie fashion style very tacky, low-class and some of her fashion choices didn't stand up the time very well. Miranda's style is a working women, not having time for being a fashionista, apparently not caring that much to be one and the only thing she was letting to stand out, was her ginger hair color. Casual, strict suits, natural makeup, clean skin.

Samantha was the reason I watched the show. Charlotte was my second favorite. I thought Carrie's behavior was ridiculous even if her style was iconic. It would be fun to type the SATC men, too, because so many men I know are trying to find their Kibbe types and style roots.

I think Miranda is mainly Mountain and Stone, when she’s out of office she wears a lot of sporty clothes and doesn’t care how put together she looks then. But maybe that’s only in the earlier seasons 🪨🏔️
I’m a mix of Miranda and Charlotte lol. Miranda for colors (because I am a deep autumn and work in an office) and Charlotte for softer shapes, materials and fabrics because we share the same Kibbe body type.

😂😂😂No, 99% of the time she is a total mess. Just because the items are designer it doesnt mean they all look good together. My wife and I recognize plenty of the individual pieces she wears throughout the show and we are always like: WTF are you doing Carrie?!? Funny how this video decided to show us the most conventional and less “””experimental””” of her outfits in order to trick us she dresses well.
