When you go long periods of time without retwisting and you style your locs this way, does your locs mesh together making it harder to pull them apart when you decide to retwist? Love your videos btw

For someone who didn’t start locs I had an Afro and it just loc on its own idk if this happens to you but some parts didn’t loc right some locs fused with others, My question is did you had to part you hair?
My hair is not hairing like yours, same length too 😫
Should i get locs?
I’ve had my locs for almost 5 months now but I struggle with washing it 😩 meaning like my stylist told me to only wash my hair when I got my hair retwisted and I can not I don’t wash it like crazy but I can go maybe 3 weeks without washing then I’ll wash it and all that and then still get my retwist every 6-8 weeks and your locs are mature but for starter locs will washing it without retwisting make a difference? I do like keep my parts nice and clean though
