*Guys, the prohibition of music has been mentioned as clear as blue sky within the Saheeh Al Bukhari, which is considered the highest level of hadith in terms of authenticity. Even within Noble Qur'an, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'Ala) referred to music as the "enticing with the voice of shaytan". Voice and words are two completely different terms. Don't listen to anyone else who says otherwise that music is not haram, as they hadith deniers. Among the scholars, there are Ibn Hazm and Hujjatul-Islam, Imam Ghazali who is also from the Syafie school of thought, and more recently, Yusuf Qardawi who permit music.
Most scholars agree that the issue of music is not muqtamad. It is not confirmed unlike fornication and alcohol, which are clearly haram.
So depending on your orientation and which scholars’ ruling you follow, music is therefore either haram or not.
Like I've mentioned before, I believe music is haram when you associate it with something haram.
it is important to note here that these scholars do not tell each other that they are wrong and “only my ruling is correct!”.
The adab of argument between scholars is something we should look up to especially in this day of age where everyone seem to argue for the sake of argument and never for the sake of finding truth.

About that book that I have mentioned in my previous comment it was specificaly about maqamas that were produced by using musical instruments.
As far as i know , it isnt forbiden to sing, but singing about good things like bravery, truth,etc.

I've read that Hadith is weak Hadith but yes there are some authentic Hadiths which confirms that musics are haram

Please stop saying that the prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him predicted something, he does not predict. Allah shows him prophecies and he tells us those prophecies, so please stop saying that it’s a prediction, because a prediction might be right or wrong. But a prophecy from Allah is always a right and true.

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) came to my house while two girls were singing beside me the songs of Buath (a story about the war between the two tribes of the Ansar, the Khazraj and the Aus, before Islam). The Prophet (p.b.u.h) lay down and turned his face to the other side. Then Abu Bakr came and spoke to me harshly saying, "Musical instruments of Satan near the Prophet (p.b.u.h) ?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) turned his face towards him and said, "Leave them."
It clearly says "musical instruments". That is, everyone.

Abu Bakr said protestingly, "Musical instruments of Satan in the house of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) !" It happened on the `Id day and Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "O Abu Bakr! There is an `Id for every nation and this is our `Id."

Narrated Abu 'Amir or Abu Malik Al-Ash'ari:
who heard the Prophet (ﷺ) say, "Among my followers there will be some people who will regard illegal sexual intercourse, the use of silk, the consumption of alcoholic beverages and the use of musical instruments as lawful. And there will be there Some people who will stand by the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them something, but they will say to him, 'Come back to us tomorrow.' into monkeys and pigs and will remain so until the Day of Resurrection."

The Prophet allowed music during weddings and festivities. And when a delegation of Ethiopians came to him, they sang and danced their local cultural dance at the Prophet's mosque. The Hadith is contradictory to other hadeeths and the Prophet's own actions.
Wasn't Music invented in the time of Seeth(AS)? Iblees turned into a boy and joined the people of Qabil and asked for employment then worked as a blacksmith. He invented a flute like thing and started blowing. People would gather in awe at the unique sound. He even had a drum which he would beat. People enjoyed the sound and they would dance and then adultery also started. They would stay awake whole night dancing. (This is the story I heard. You can listen to story of Seeth(as)son of Adam after Qabil and Habil)

Before I watched this and realised music was work of Shaytan and Adam (a.s) disobedient child I played a trumpet in music class in school. In sha Allah I can work something out so that I don't need to use it as much.

Backbiting is sinful.
Music can be very very harmful and people who make music need to put thought into it. Good thoughts into it. Not bad thoughts.
What about national anthems then? Even schools in Muslim countries teach children to sing the national anthem along with musical instruments.
