  • 4 cups of all purpose Flour
    200 gr of butter or margarine
    1 and 1/2 cup of brown sugar
    1 can of pineapple slices in syrup
    1/2 cup of pineapple juice (just liquefy the pineapple with a little water) NOT the syrup
    4 eggs
    1 Cup of sugar (for the caramel)
    Maraschino cherries (cherries in syrup)
    1 tablespoon of baking powder.
