A lil tip: use ur eyes and lips as guidelines to get them even. Pull the piece until it covers ur eye and cut below ur bottom lip!
Ofc this is just the length and layering i prefer so feel free to adjust however u want for example if u want them longer cut around your chin length

Saying this from experience (i always messed up my bangs in high school😅), if unsure always go for a longer cut, it gives you space to fix your hair or decide if longer was good enough for you

Brad, I was wondering if it's possible to make curtain bangs with a sidepart? If not, are there any alternatives? I love the look of curtain bangs, but I have a big side part and a middle part doesn't suit me very well. Any advise?
I tried it with a side part and didn’t like the look of it. So I decided to just give a middle parting a try although I always thought it doesn’t suit me at all and cut thick curtain bangs with a middle part and after a few days of getting used to the look of a middle part on my face I love it so much 😍
Yes, I have the same question! I’ve been trying and my side part is pretty deep. My hair just naturally is parted that way and it’s been really difficult to change.

I just tried this tutorial with a sidelpart and obviously it looks a bit different because you have more hair on one side but it looks cute.
Just style it how you would courtain bangs.
if you have curly hair i do recommend you go to a hairdresser for this (i learnt this from my personal experience lol)
Tbh I find my curly hair easier to cut than if I were to have straught hair, cause ur errors wont be as noticeable, but also if ur cutting curly hair, all I suggest is knowing that u will get tons of shrinkage! And to cut accordingly, likeleave more length for bangs and such since it will shrink up
I should have seen this when it came out because now i just have little bits of hair that stands up in sections and its WAYY to short

Advice! : (keep in mind i am not a hairdresser but my hairdresser told me this) if you are deciding/going to get curtain bangs keep in mind they are very beautiful but keep in mind the can just hang there and you have to be very consistent on styling. A alternative is like angled side bangs!

Brad you're a hero and I love you 😊❤ Holiday season over here. Broke up with a dude who doesn't deserve me at all. All salons are full and I also don't feel like being dragged verbally by a mean woman at the salon because she's jealous of my face and then sourly pay her afterwards. Parting with that money to a sour mouthed bully physically hurts. I just got finished from doing this impulsively (and I took a smaller chunk than you did cuz then I'd look like a poofy sheep or a poodle) and it looks GREAT! It's a new me.

Yeah just tried that overdirecting thing to try to frame my face and all I did was chop a big shelf into my hair. Didn't work AT ALL My way has worked for 30 years.
I should've never tried that. Going back to my longtime method when it grows back out in 6 months. Good thing it doesn't show much in my long hair. I can just wear the sides up for awhile.
