I love how he always does that spin thing. Always so playful. I watch him in my videos over and over again. When having a crap day I pop on over to him and these videos and the day doesn’t seem to bad anymore. So to whoever does these video thank you!
You know, I'be watched a lot of videos with Lope and his family, and I've really noticed that each and every gorilla has a such a distinct and unique personality. Baby Shufai, Lope's little brother, is so different from how Lope was as a baby. Shufai is a curious and lively baby, but also a bit shy. Whereas Lope is so cheeky ans like a good challenge, even as a baby! You can really see traits in him that carried on to when he is older. I never would have thought gorillas can be so precious! I think I'm actually in ❤
Awww, baby Lope! So cute! I've only seen him as a cheeky 3+ yo youngster before. And he still has his white "baby tail"! Too cute! His granma (Bidi, i think) is such a goid gradma :D I've seen the more recent videos, where Lope is already 5 yo and they are still playing and wrestling around!
This is so cute, seeing baby lope play with grandma. Lol, all Biddy can do is gum lope with her mouth. When he starts running to his side and his arm is swinging back and forth, it looks like he is going to sock her. Lope definitely gets some of his playful traits from grandma Biddy.
That kid is a riot! I've watched my uncle play with my cousins like that. No matter how aggravated he wanted his brothers and sisters to think he was, we all knew he was having as big a blast as was his nephews!
God it's creepy how similar they are to small children. Lol The baby gorilla spinning around and rolling in the grass, I'm almost visioning a typical 3 year old doing this instead of a gorilla. Had to remind myself it's a gorilla.

I love to watch Daddy gorrillas play with their babies they are so gentle and loving caring it is beautiful to watch a massive creature like this be so loving to their children
The entire Gorilla troop was so happy at the birth of lil Lope, they enjoyed playing and spending lots of time with the lil fella, they tripped over each other to get time with him. Fast forward 5 yrs., everyone in the troop runs in the other direction whenever Lope is awake, some say they can't remember him sleeping in yrs. Everyone is exhausted from yrs. of nonstop harassment and aggravation doled out to all by their beloved Lope. Now that Shufai is old enough to be around Lope it had taken some of stress and pressure off of everyone else. But after a couple of yrs under Lope's rule, Shufai has taken to going into hiding Too. There's talk that Grandma Bidi has a witness protection program operating where she can secretly hide a family member for as much as a wk. at a time! Meanwhile Lope just keeps rolling along spreading his special kind of joy to everyone with a smile on his handsome face....
So cute! He is sparring and perfecting his skills to become the alpha one day. If he can't beat them he can always dazzle them with his unique rolling skills. It's a dam shame what man has done to this intelligent and animal. What's funny is that man learned his survival skills from this animal in his early days on this planet.
I will check out your other videos but I had forgotten about this one 4 awhile n happy to see it again. The little gorilla just charms me in his zest for life. Rolling around the grass in pure joy. Lovely.
