I will defend Coach Davis to the end. We have been friends for nearly 20 years. I trust him on and off the court. He knows what he's doing. No one else i would want my son playing for.
That sounds good but that dont win games. I'm all for Hubert Davis but he got out Coached a few times last year especially the Alabama game. UNC should never have played Man to Man the whole game the whole season. Too small and not fast enough. Even the Pros play a little zone defense every now and then. U have to give teams different looks when they adjust to what ur doing. They worked so hard on defense that it took away from the offense. Lets just hope Hubert does better because he got the talent

@gh6957 We both seeing what we seeing from the Coach so u can't use that excuse. Alabama over powered UNC because our Guards was to small to be playing Man to Man the whole game. I'm not saying hes a bad coach I just said on several nights, he was out coached and if we can hold the players accountable when they get out played, we need to hold the coaches accountable when they get out Coached

I'm so annoyed with this off season lol...like damn near weekly I see teams like Kansas, Ark, UK and damn Duke filling their rosters just fine and it feels like we keep pulling guys out of thin air and it seems none of them really looked at UNC seriously lol like damn...Jalen is fine but to suddenly act like he is ready to play 30+ mins/game is just crazy
Ya’ll are talking about Coleman Hawkins, JWash is a strong offensive player as he has shown. Hawkins is too but he isn’t a great defensive player. Not sure he is better there than JWash. I think Onyenso is who we need. We already have plenty of offense. We need a rim protector.
Onyenso will go to a team to show how good he can be on offense. He sounds like he is mad the way that coach Cal used him which I have seen from other Kentucky players like Booker. Hawkins will most likely stay in the NBA draft but I wouldn't mind having him or Ugonna being one of the last pieces to the Cardinals roster. 🔥Go CARDS!🔥

Actually he's been quoted saying that money doesn't move him. And that he doesn't want the tag of highest paid player. He said he doesn't want the added pressure. That's from his mouth

Onyenso doesn't sound like NBA material based on his stats. We are in a bad spot and may have to pay an inflated price for a subpar big. That's not how we usually roll but it is this go around.
We will know soon enough what we will be playing with next season. May not be until late July/early August. I just cannot keep up with all these minute by minute changes, nor can all the talking heads who discuss college bball for a living.

You talking about fire power RJ Davis is a score yea The other two only average about 7 points and not good three-point shooters and the income and transfer you do not know what you’re gonna get out of him on this level of college basketball
Trimble is a better shooter than he gets credit for..I understand he needs to take more shots to get a true % but for the shots he did take his % was really good..And let’s not forget Ian Jackson can snipe
It's no longer about the coach. Recruiting is totally different now. It's all about negotiating a price. And if you can't agree on the price, you move on

I LOVE the idea of mixing in some zone. Anything to keep the opponent from getting comfortable.

Kids LOVE playing for Hubert. Recruiting is all about business now. It's Free Agency. And Hubert is particular in who he wants to coach.

Hubert has done more than Scheyer and Duke has got more top talent so I don't think your theory true
