I'm saving up for both the ship set, and player set! I like how they look, since I'm going for a darker theme for my pirate. I also have my ships named after different black corvids, so I think the ship set would be lovely for my galleon!

When I was a fresh pirate in SoT a few years ago, I came across a crew that had the all DA set on their gally and when I refuse to give them my loot, they went off about how my loot's value was nothing compare to their ship and it's worth millions of coins and blah blah blah.
when i started the game this set was my goal, but by the time u get the money - u start to understand, that the wheel's knob is quite big, cannons are too big. and now sails are nerfed.. Still using them tho, along with the figurehead, suits the look made from other sets.
the cannons are almost as small as default cannons, not large

Honestly the DA sails should’ve stayed the same. The bonus they gave was incredibly small.
On a galleon the big sail literally covers all of the helms vision when fully down. you have to raise is like 10-20% for both front sails in order to see properly. Not having to do that is a massive advantage
I was so upset when I found out they adjusted the DA sails. The whole reason I bought them was for the cut!
With the gold and glory we did a 12 hour stack in a dead server with 2 other ships as our ally and made 13 mil

da sails use to be very op, thats why majority who had them didnt use because they was so op they could aim your cannons for you they could turn ship faster too LOL saying there op because of a slight cutout that just the same as raising sail up slightly it just a thing done by social media
nobody will explain the advantage ok so you can maybe snipe better from your ship.. but cant an enemy ship snipe you better too.. there was only one reason people used da sails was to say dont attack me because you can see i have played a while because i spent 8 mil on some sails, people with da sails use to be trash at the game and it was like i said some sort of protection like oh i have scary sails

Did they actually nerf the sails??? I just started grinding PL and gold because I loved the way the sails looked ;-;
They just removed the cut out at the bottom but it's only on some sails, the ones that gave you an egregious vision advantage.
The sloops solo sail no longer has the cut out, same with the brigs back sail and the galleons middle sail. but all other sails remained the same
