We must develop our homeland. I just finished my village mansion. North is insecure yet we live there. Lagos and the entire west is insecure yet we live there. No place is secure.
In Lagos their houses are being destroyed on daily basis. Some are already dreaming about how they will take Igbo houses. Why not focus on something else and forget about this. Like u took it out from my mouth....I ve never thought of building in my village because I see it as economic waste....I prefer to do real estate in Owerri, where there's return on investment. But for manufacturing, which happens to be known as the real sector...that area is as good as Dead in Nigeria because of lack of electricity, one needs it to manufacture but the Nigerian govt doesn't care about that.

How do you know there are no private investments in the southeast? You can work and chew gum. What is missing is public infrastructure development. With adequate railroads which the national government denies Igbo, all Igbo villages as you call can become suburbs. Try to focus on the right things. Igbo know how to spend their private money. We are victims official neglect. All Igbo villages are mere 10 to 15 miles to nearest city. Villages will not be villages for ever.
Take your advice to sambisa forest.

Building in the village is a choice. Not a must. If u have the money, buy in the city build in the village & go relax undisturbed 🙂↔️ (if u have the money)

Senseless post. When Nigeria shuts down your seaports and no international airports.
the south east is the only part of Nigetia with the worst roads, no gas infrastructure pipeline even when the largest gas reserve is there and no modern rail.
You just want traffic n comments
Rephrase to make sense, then resend.
Your papa.
If you no build am for your homeland where else you wan build am? Smh nonsense talk
You want them to build it in Lagos and Abuja? You are too young to understand what happened during oso Abiola in 1993 where Igbos trooped back home with their families.I did not understand why you as an Igbo lady will criticise her people for building village mansions? Is it content or what? I did not see any of your video where you criticise Wike or Sanwolu for demolishing igbo houses in Lagos and Abuja.BTW it is their money and their choice.Or have you not heard “Omo igbo go and develop your region”? I don’t think you have a right to tell someone on how to invest his money because the last time I checked Igbos that built houses in their villages have houses in cities where they reside.I agreed with you that We should encourage them to come back home factories but we should also encourage them to build houses in their villages.Do you like how Igbos have foolishly bought up all and are still buying the swamps in Lagos?? and you have the audacity to advise them why they should not invest in their villages??????
Igbos should build at where in Lagos or Abuja please stop that nonsense you are talking who sent you to talk you are small girl to talk that nonsense did you hear about abandoned property and it still going on in Lagos today did you see what is happening in Abuja please any lgbo should build in Biafra land
Why you come dey drink panadol for another man's headache? Building a house in the village is a choice, everyone cannot follow the same rules of investment. Your argument doesn't hold much water.
you are really a baby go an sleep and you are not igbo woman I swear🎉
Ok grandpa 👴
Building mansions in villages is a primitive idea with a weak excuse!!
The civil war ended 55 years ago!
Interestingly enough, the people from the region are always going outside their region to earn money!
Building industry within the region is one of the best things that people in the region can do!
👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!!
So says a known nong.
Go with your so-called modern idea and build outside.
I really don't like whatever you are doing . Stop this your nonsense. Tell your family members.
Ok uncle bright
Nwanyi return on investment, leave us to do our thing. The reason is multifaceted. It is not competition, we are naturally competitive. But I can relate.
