Ronnie used to deliver boxes to my warehouse, and we would shoot the shit every time he came. Never did he mention he could sing. Im amazed at his talent and happy he got out of that job. Look at him now, doing something he obviously loves.
I have no earthly idea who these people are, but they aren't the guys that played it or sang it 45 years before this video was made. Listening to a version of dust in the wind without Steve Walsh singing lead almost seems sacrilegious.
Like it or not....original or not.....same like foreigner, journey, chicago, queensrhych n many more band that keep changing the band members with some personal issue or what.....it still them with their name.i love kansas! From malaysia with love!
Steve Walsh is one of the most underrated voices in rock, and one of my faves...that said, I saw this show and really enjoyed it, they were super tight. Unfortunately Steve can't pull this off anymore, wish he could. Was worth it to see Leftoverture played in its entirety.
Read the comment again, I know it wasn't Walsh, I was responding to someone who said it's not Kansas without Walsh. Platt sang his eyeballs out in the show I saw, he did a great job.
"KANSAS regretfully announces the cancellation of its 2017 European Tour. The cancellation is based on safety and security warnings issued by the United States government and various U.S. law enforcement agencies concerning Americans traveling in Europe this summer. KANSAS is extremely saddened that the band will not be able to perform for its European fans this year." Well Ozzy says "Paranoid!"!
Robby Steinhardt was replaced not once, but twice, by David "Rags" Ragsdale. So the current violinist here is "Rags," though he also plays guitar on those songs not calling for a violin part.
No they haven't, that's bullshit. They're still going strong and touring. As a 16 year old fan, I would like to say that as long as they have fans listening to them, they'll never be forgotten. I'm seeing them in Bethlehem PA this October for the first time in my life! I'm super excited and I can't wait.

Its like Journey without Steve Perry. Why even bother. Free you tube works for non original bands We recently saw Three Dog Night with original members and they had many top ten hits!
I love that song, I recently discovered it and I'm fascinated with its songs 👏
An absolute masterclass! Flawless vocals. Its like they havent aged. Brilliant
His voice is so unique and so heartbreaking. We played this song for a friend who passed at 16 years old ..this song cuts deep.😢
Same for me my dad who recently died loved this song. He played it when i was younger.
Beautiful song and performance
This song and the sound of silence by paul simon are unforgettable and fantastic!
Classic classic classic from 70s to forever
Ronnie used to deliver boxes to my warehouse, and we would shoot the shit every time he came. Never did he mention he could sing. Im amazed at his talent and happy he got out of that job. Look at him now, doing something he obviously loves.
I grew up with his sister and him. Never knew he could sing, either and I was in music since I was 9.
Wow this sounded great!
como puede ser de mantener ese tiembre siempre kedare admirada de kansas y otros grupos ...hermosa cancion
Oh Lord beautiful voice beautiful music. Feel in Love
He's very good with a voice clearly influenced by Steve Walsh's unique vocals. But there will never be another Steve Walsh.
He actually looks like Steve too
RIP Robby Steinhardt
They sound great!
Ronnie sounds fantastic!
Beautiful!
Memories....souvenirs....
Me arrepio só de ouvir, linda linda canção!

Despite the personel changes in the band Kansas has kept their authentic classic original sound.

Like it or not. This IS Kansas. And I think they're amazing
Não pode ser chamada de música, está um patamar acima
Steve Walsh is one of the most underrated voices in rock, and one of my faves...that said, I saw this show and really enjoyed it, they were super tight. Unfortunately Steve can't pull this off anymore, wish he could. Was worth it to see Leftoverture played in its entirety.
Considering the singer is Ronnie Platt and not Steve Walsh - hmmm.
Read the comment again, I know it wasn't Walsh, I was responding to someone who said it's not Kansas without Walsh. Platt sang his eyeballs out in the show I saw, he did a great job.
I wish Kansas would do a concert in my hometown of Kingston Ontario Canada.
meravigliosiii
옛날 생각난다 보고싶은 그녀도..
Muita linda essa música

Well Ozzy says "Paranoid!"!
Steve Walsh is the key tune.
❤
why is Chevy Chase with a wig singing this song?
Where is the violin guy
Been out of the band for years. This is The "New" guy but he has been with Kansas for a while.
Robby Steinhardt was replaced not once, but twice, by David "Rags" Ragsdale. So the current violinist here is "Rags," though he also plays guitar on those songs not calling for a violin part.
ClassicTVMan1981X ;-;
ClassicTVMan1981X why he was replaced
Creative differences with the other band members, and touring too much. It was by mutual agreement.
Steve has this one beat
Someone forgot to call Steve Walsh...
highlander the series
Yes indeed, after all the bs and jelly beans all we are is dust in the wind. 😉👍
amazing
Back to Kansas band Steve Walsh
👏👏👏👏👏 steve forever 👏👏👏
Kansas has become dust in the wind !
All we are, is dust in the wind. They were always.
No Steve Walsh? No Kansas.
Lead singer looks like Harry in dumb and dumber.
I think he's done a great job on the vocals...hard to replace Steve's voice....bands go on..
That's not Steve walsh!
Yep Steves voice is shot
Dorian McCloud back Steve Walsh!

where is the real singer ??
He knew when to stop and could no longer hit those high notes, but still would rather see him than this tribute band
This is not Kansas.
yes it is. and they sound great
Yeah, I won't see them ,Chicago with Cetera and Michael M, or Journey ever again
Call Steve.
Steve Walsh voice never fade
That is Ronnie Platt singing, not Steve Walsh.
An excellent choice for Kansas lead vocalist as a replacement for Steve Walsh.
Why does Ronnie looked rotten and old 13 years ago..now he looked younger 13 years later
Almost a tribute band....... no, a tribute band.
Agreed!
$$ talks and some people don't care or even know the difference
this is cover..not real
lol what ? it's the real kansas, just a new singer
Phil's still there, Rich is still there, it's real Kansas
Its like Journey without Steve Perry.
Why even bother.
Free you tube works for non original bands
We recently saw Three Dog Night with original members and they had many top ten hits!
Has anyone watched Steve Walsh sing lately? The former quarterback probably sounds better than him. It sucks getting old, but he's toast.
It's too bad Steve Walsh destroyed his voice by drugs. Could of been one of the best singers of all time.
He is one of the best rock vocalists of all time. Steve Walsh is one of America's consummate vocal treasures; that status is assured.
I think he was one of the best, and it's "could have" not "could of".
can't stand the singers mannerisms. such a flake
Audience are annoying
RONNIE OUT¡¡¡¡
The new singer just does not do it for me, am a longtime fan!
He is pretty good Steves voice was shot.
This isn't the true lineup sorry, Without Steinhardt and Kerry the and walsh Dust is watered down badly!!!!!
They should just stop ruining the Kansas original sound already
another cover band
With only two original members left: guitarist Rich Williams and drummer Phil Ehart.
No pierde su voz que rolon mis amigos saludos desde zumpango edo de mex.
Josejuan Torres el no es el Original , el Original es Steve Walsh .
No Steve Walsh? No Kansas.
Perfect words!
Agreed, but some people don't care, not true Kansas fans obviously
oh yeah but y'all, y'all are the true fans, right?
