So two entirely different and unconnected cases were decided just on basis of give and take arrangement rather than legal merits?
And this shows ugly face of Judiciary. It's full of fixers rather than Beholders of Justice.

No brother, judiciary did its work by sending first case to high court and by sentencing jail, SC also uphold the HC decision. What happened after that was on part of Executive and they also did according to powers provided in CrPC and yes it is duty of government to fix things.

Also, it is better to let go of one person then to let two communities fight each other which can get ugly. Also KN Nanavati was a provoked criminal, not a professional one, so leaving him was not going to be as much a threat to the society.

बहुत गलत फैसला , पहले गलती नानावटी की दूसरी गलती उनकी पत्नी की , तीसरी गलती नानावटी की थी , किस अधिकार से वो आहूजा के पास गए , जब उनकी पत्नी को वो समय नही देते थे तो उनकी पत्नी से पूछना चाहिए कि वो डायवर्स लेना चाहती तो दे देते , अब यहां प्रेम आहूजा गंभीर प्रेमी होने के बजाय सड़क छाप अय्याश निकला , दोनो मिलकर प्रेम आहूजा को कानूनी सजा दिलाते ।
