I've seen other guitar RUclipsrs review this guitar and they weren't impressed, but they were trying to play rock n roll and it didn't work for that genre. However, your finger picking sounded great on it.
You looked like you enjoyed it Bob. £350 is a bit steep for what is a bit of fun and I can't really see them taking off, but in a couple of years when you can pick these up on eBay for a lot less, I'd be up for it. Great video and superb playing as always.
I’ve since been advised by AeroGuitar that an app is available with the instrument which can provide various tunings etc. They say the sensitivity can also be adjusted. ✌️
Casio had something similar years ago and was terrible. This seems like a slight improvement. I’m a working musician and have used Roland guitar synth systems for years. They sound amazing. If someone likes the idea of making keyboards, synth tones, horns, etc. you can buy a used Roland GR-30 or GR-33 or GR-20 for the same money.
Reminds me of the Casio DG20 which I had back in the early 90's. Similar limitations to the Aeroband regarding actual playing but loadsa sounds and percussion effects. The Aeroband has a much sleeker look to it and it'll be interesting to see if it develops further. Nice honest and fair review, Rob, and I agree with your marks out of ten. 👍🤠👍
I was sceptical when I first opened this Rob but it actually sounds quite good. Do you get to keep it & if so can I have a go when I pop round for a brew?
I think up to now it’s been reviewed as if it were a guitar, rather than as a guitar-shaped instrument, as you have done. Very fair of you, thanks! But I think I would still prefer a Lava guitar, even if they are more expensive (even the cheapest ones).
Similar to a Yourock guitar - these were made years ago with a price of around £100. Unfortunately they looked like toys but possibly had more functions than this one.
A good review ,Rob , but sadly not for me . I heard you mention ,Drop D tuning . I recently re-discovered a chap called , Michael Chapman With many fine albums , apparently that was his favoured method of tuning . Not sure how it works , or how to do it though . Small stones , and Wellington the skellington are two good tunes .
I like this, lots of fun to be had, banjo guitar, piano and what else. Gonna get one, not that expensive for what you get, your smile was enough have fun that's what it's all about😂
I emailed the company and they said you can use the app to do other tunings. I can’t test it because you need a guitar connected through Bluetooth to use the app.

Tambura and Lowrey organ were 2 of the main instruments on Lucy in the sky with diamonds
Nice Cavatina. Took me a long time to learn that on classical guitar.

Great musicianship, Rob!
As you say there have been some bad reviews of the guitar but yours was the first I saw that showed it in a good light.

Very level headed review
Would just like to add that the sound samples were quite good
I might as well play guitar sounds on my keyboards like I did before I was 40. Promising, with room for improvement.
Thanks Rob, but I think I'll stick with me Woolie's Satellite.😄

Rob you are amazing 🎉

Very cool now how about that second part of The Cinema Show by Genesis 😁
I enjoyed the review, it sounds nice when you play it, would I buy one? No
I could listen to you playing that all night 👍
I'd like to hear it with more metal sound
It doesn’t have a metal pre set sound. The app probably has a few.
What about hammer ons and pull offs?
Can turn on this function in the APP.
Like guitars better, especially the classical one u play , interesting,
This is what Joni Mitchell wanted for all her tunings.
Not sure it has open tuning facilities. That’s a problem if it hasn’t, especially if you want to play Joni Mitchell. ✌️

Might be better to buy a Stylophone! remember those?
I do! 👍🏻🤣
No strings, no-go for me!
👍🤪😎
