@@sodapop83 Fantastic idea, critics are now praising Queen for their genius however, back when they were most active critics spoke negatively of the band.
My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. My house is in the northeast section of Morioh, where all the villas are, and I am not married. I work as an employee for the Kame Yu department stores, and I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. After having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed, I usually have no problems sleeping until morning. Just like a baby, I wake up without any fatigue or stress in the morning. I was told there were no issues at my last check-up. I'm trying to explain that I'm a person who wishes to live a very quiet life. I take care not to trouble myself with any enemies, like winning and losing, that would cause me to lose sleep at night. That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to fight I wouldn't lose to anyone
Killer Queen will also always hold a special place in my heart because it was the first Queen song I heard on the radio in early 1975. I thought it was the most beautiful song and so different than anything else I had ever heard. Brian's guitar didn't sound like any guitar I had ever heard and Freddie's vocal was perfect. I think Sheer Heart Attack may have had a different sound if Brian hadn't been in the hospital for most of it. He may have steered Freddie's more pop oriented songs into a more rock direction, but we will never know. Roger says this is his favourite Queen album. It is definitely one of my top favourites as well. I think it is about a high class call girl. Eric Hall is dreaming...LOL. The song was the first to break Queen in North America and was a turning point in their career. The perfect pop song and the song that launched their popularity around the world. One of my favourite Freddie lyrics is Let Me Entertain You.
Killer Queen is an expression of Freddie's spirit. It is SO HIM. Most of Freddie"s lyrics are like they were written for a play in a teather intended for the viewer to experience a huge catharsis and metamorphosis. That is what Freddie Mercury represents to me. There are so many great songs to choose from, Maybe you could do Seaside Rendezvous?
Gotta disagree that they struggled to do this song live. I think they did it very well. It was different yes, but still great nonetheless. IA it was a turning point for them.
Good analysis. The best thing about any song is that it is open to interpretation. The personal story (of Freddie Mercury) if true is very much hidden although it may be a reference to something from his personal life. What is more interesting and evident are the other two interpretations- the Historical one and that of a Femme Fatale.

Hey there Fine Arts, good to see you back 👍 I love Killer Queen! ( As soon as I see the thumbnail to this~my fingers start to 'click' ) lol It's an amazing song imo. I especially like Brian's guitar 🎸 solo's & Deaky's triangle playing, 💜👑💜

03:33-04:09 Is from the Freddie's Love documentary and in that clip with Eric, he also goes into the whole explanation further by connection his hair & how he'd wore it then ANNND the fact that he used to keep Moët in this fancy cabinet in his office. I too believe him as Freddie was known by the ppl closest to him that he'd often write about ppl in his life, how he'd felt at the time, and wrote songs for/about his lovers. Freddie wrote with his heart on his sleeve.

i don't think they struggled with the song live. i think freddie plus roger sounds super cool. simular to how they did we are the champions live also, the line "let them eat cake" is jsut a legend, as you said. but marie antoinette never said this also also, the top of the pops performance was just lip sync to the studio version as far as i know
"Killer Queen" itself and the title is in fact Freddie Mercury and how he viewed himself more like a feminine spirit in a man's body, so the song is about himself and his fascination of being feminine as a mostly gay man
Just a question... How could they put such a masterpiece like "Killer Queen" along with "I'm in love with my car" a mediocre song in their live shows???? Whyyyyyyyyyy! I can't forget Freddie's look at Taylor while he's playing piano... 😆🤣😂
