This has been a long awaited release.
I have "Scooby Doo On Zombie Island" on DVD and I do plan to get the second film on DVD someday
It kinda sucks that Warner paired it with a sequel that no one likes and didn't even put the movies on separate discs.
At least the next Scooby double feature with Witch's Ghost and Alien Invaders have TWO good movies that people actually like (even if it still does have the same "two movies on one disc" problem).
the good thing is since the movies are so short theres no quality sacrifice. Both movies combined would be about a normal movies length.
I'm so excited
Awesome video😍♥️
Can you do A Triple DVD Unboxing of Disney Presents Bill Nye the Science Guy Dinosaurs and Reptiles, Blood and Circulation and Bone and Muscles and Food Web and Animal Locomotion?, Please?
Can you do an update on your Peanuts collection?
About that the FIRST Zombie island movie was the LAST one that Scooby Doo's 1969 Voice actor was still alive he passed away shortly after its release.
Actually, Scooby's original voice Don Messick died the previous year in late 1997 and so Scoob was recast to Scott Innes (also Shaggy's VA from 1999-2001 before Casey Kasem eventually returned full time) who was the main voice until Frank Welker assumed the role from 2002 onward in which he has done both Scooby and Fred ever since then barring some exceptions here and there. Innes still voiced Scooby for a while after in video games, commercials and other projects up to a certain point before Frank took over across the board.
Hey J's Blu Rays are you gonna pick up anymore Scooby Doo movies and TV shows on physical media someday somehow in the future and do unboxing videos of them
J’s Blu-rays, what kind of shelves do you use to store your collection? I too always liked to collect physical media. Please let me know soon. Thank you.
I have Scooby Doo On Zombie Island on VHS both versions The Hard Case Covered Version and The Cardboard Cover of the tapes. They both work far as I know.
I have first movie one on DVD but never seen second movie great review
I haven’t seen Scooby Doo 2: Returns to Zombie Island
Can you unbox the complete series of Dexter's Laboratory?
I watched both movies back-to-back and seeing part 2 for the first time, I can't understand why it's so hated. I laughed throughout. Especially when Fred had Dracula on the run/flight with a big determined grin on his face just before (SMACK) plastering him on the windshield of the Mystery Machine during the time-lapse montage. I also don't think it retconned anything about the first one like I read in some reviews. At the end of part one the Mystery Inc. Gang defeated the evil curse. In this one you have crooks taking advantage of the island's history trying to scare away tourists by dressing like the cat monsters all so they can get the treasure they seek for themselves. Basically a typical Scooby-Doo story. It also implies there's still a real curse at the end as well. I think part 2 is better than some of the more popular newer ones like Happy Halloween Scooby-Doo for example. It seemingly gets hated more than liked, but to me it was enjoyable. Until this blu-ray it had been at least 20 years since I saw part 1. It's better than I remembered.
The reason why people hate it is because it's watered down.
Um, yeah...needless to say the sequel is awful and doesn't even deserve to share the same disc as the original. This reminds me of those 2 movie packs that Disney has done previously where they include the original animated classic film and their crap DTV sequels (The Fox and The Hound, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Atlantis, Mulan, Pocahontas.etc) though thankfully i already have the original Zombie Island separate so i'm good as far as that goes.
The trouble is it's only available this way on Blu-ray.
This release could've been a MASSIVE deal, but leave it to WB to ruin it by including the sequel that NOBODY liked. And worse? They both share the same disc.
