I like how you are very detailed I’ve had an obsession with grills for a long time and never thought about making them until now! I’ll be tuning in for more
Hii, I was wondering what gauge you ordered for the sprew attachement? I love you’re video’s and I want to start a grillz business without any experience, so you really helped me a lot al the way from the Netherlands! ✨ Thankyou 😊
Thank you so much for making this video fam! You don't even know, I was doing my first investment casting the other day. I was searching for how much water to use for DAYS! Even the casting investment only has a wax burnout schedule, and not how much grams to the dimensions of flask. Incredible fucking video, thanks for all the help. I've only ever waxed up grillz and sent them to get casted, but I love smelting it IS therapeutic. But now I'm feelin to be a manufacturer. Appreciate the real ones like you, who help the ambitious ones like me get in the game. ❤
That’s what’s up bro! Glad I can help out, those little details are forever needed and no one communicates them well in my opinion 🙏🏾🙏🏾 glad everything is getting to where it needs to be for you.
what materials do you use for the mold of the grillz in the mixing step? please can yoou do me a little list? i don't understand english well, im italian
Hi bro, your video is the best, im spanish and i dont understand well some things, i want to make my own grillz following ur steps, i have some questions.. whats dwt? And rubber? And CBW? 😅 i have more questions but like that its good, saludos bro!
"DWT" es una unidad de medida que la mayoría de los joyeros utilizan para medir metales preciosos. significa "pennyweight". “Caucho” es el material de caucho. y no estoy seguro de qué es CBW jaja, me estoy quedando en blanco para eso.
Great video. I just got my whole seller. I’m still confused with the dwt and pricing. I put in like 35 dwt and the price seems high. Not sure if I’m doing it right
Technically you can use a vibrating table the same you use for alginate from my previous video. But it still won’t get nearly as many bubbles out as the vacuum chamber
is there any way to cast from home? also how much would you say it costs you per grill, and how much did it cost you to get started from home? basically how much money do i need to start this myself lol
@@Yxung_tar that’s a hard estimate to give due to the price varying a number of factors. The price can fluctuate depending on the type of metal and the quality of the metal (ex. 10k 14k 18k gold or silver) it can also vary depending on how thick you make your pieces. Casting prices are normally conceived from the weight of your piece the spot price of gold for that day (if casting in gold) and the purity of the metal. Roughly $300-$800. But it heavily Varys.
Dope i video so for casting and adding diamonds etc we hand over to a jeweler right? Also theyll just add the diamonds we buy wholesale for us right is there anything we show them like pics ? Fire video tho🔥
If you’re trying to stay in the “dental” range 9k gold would be best option and cheapest. If you’re trying to go in the art range: silver then gold plate.
Hey bro I like your vids , just wondering to what point do I hand it over to a jeweller for them to cast it? If I’m assuming correctly it would be after I put the sprus on? Thank you brother
Well bro when pouring investment the vacuum is an important step cause you want to get as many air bubbles out the way to ensure your piece comes out with little to no defects. If you want you can try to use a vibrating table but in all honestly I’d either just send your pieces to a caster until you have the money to save for the vacuum. Just look at it as a way to better you sculpting skills when it comes to waxing and all.
No sirr, white gold is an alloy between gold and other metals such as palladium, nickel, platinum, etc. Those metals give the gold alloy its white color
Hey bro I hope you can help me out, I’ve been making grillz for a month now but the ones I make they don’t reach the gum they are way to small, how much should I put the gums down when I have the stone mold?
You should do about 1-2mm, I’m not sure how to describe the depth other than that honestly 😬😬. Try to prep the video, maybe you can freeze frame try to mimick as much as possible
Well…I’ve never seen anyone not use sprus if they’re doing the lost wax casting method. Maybe it’s possible in another method but I’ve never seen it done.
It's a propane/acetylene torch I think (green/red) so you just gotta buy the tanks and they'll last a MINUTE. Electric kilns will use a little juice but it's comparable to a oven so you'll be aight
YESSIIIRR went to american school of jewelry in sunrise. But you can go to any school they normally have some course related to grillz. Best places to look would be in the jewelry district in your city!

I can see the American School of Jewelry classroom in your videos, I also took this class, Eddie was the best jewelry instructor.
!! Yes he was!
Just came to thank you for giving most of us a job frfr

“Obviously I’m Not White” Took Me Out Lmaoo 😂😂 Great Video !
so what do you do with the metal that u cut off that was the spures???
Repurpose them melt down and use it for the next cast.
Your video is the first I watched right after I found Grillz so cool!!! your tutorial is awesome but it’s still hard to get a start lol

What is an alternative to get air bubbles out without having that machine
Technically you can use a vibrating table the same you use for alginate from my previous video. But it still won’t get nearly as many bubbles out as the vacuum chamber
The borax acid also helps the metal from sticking to the crucible

Very nice video 😊
Can I use parchment paper instead of the liner paper?
We need a diamond setting video asap gang💯
Do you need to add wax sprews if your getting them casted from somewhere else and not doing it yourself?
No they’ll most likely do it themselves. Just keep it on the model when you bring it to them so it don’t deform
is there any way to cast from home? also how much would you say it costs you per grill, and how much did it cost you to get started from home? basically how much money do i need to start this myself lol
What kind of shop is that like what is it called?
How do you make an invisible set grill I’ve been trying to figure that out the longest
where do you go to school at for this ? please let me know
How much to let someone cast it for you roughly?

How many grams did you use

If you’re more of a hands-on person, I think that would be a good idea.

Pretty much. A lot of times tho they may even ask you not to put the spurs on because it may affect how they add it to their tree.

That school specifically has different courses in the jewelry niche that cater to what you want to learn. So grillz, chains, rings/wedding bands, etc.
Where was that school and how long? Again much appreciated for the responses also!!
