For BTS marathon, you should DEFINITELY watch the live performance of Outro: Tear by the rapline! The song was written when the group was considering disbandment so the lyrics really hit hard and are really sincere. There is a version of the live performance with subtitles somewhere there!

It doesn’t have a video but the dance practice is pretty epic and there’s is also a live version from their Yet To Come in Busan concert in 2022 that is 🔥) - Baepsae live performance and/or dance practice followed by “Baepsae explained by a Korean” on the DKDKTV channel (one of their songs that are commentary on todays society, also a very fun dance and just amazing live performances. Can’t go wrong with Baepsae/Silver Spoon) - Spring Day (for sth very different, no dancing in this) - Fire (a great hype song and a very energetic dance) - Not Today (a great fight song and another jaw dropping choreo) - ON Kinetic Manifesto Film (musically different from everything else, and the dance in this is pretty spectacular too, one of their most difficult) - Idol (one of their most iconic songs with a really trippy music video and once again a great choreo - there is a version of this video and song ft. Nicky Minaj if you prefer that and there is also an explanation video by DKDKTV for this as well because it has A LOT of korean imagery and cultural references) - Fake Love (you seem to be really into well produced music videos - this one is god tier) - ABSOLUTE MUST WATCH FOR A BTS MARATHON imo: BTS Room Festa 2021, a 10 minute mini concert with short snippets of some of their b-sides, one per year I think it was. The above ones are all pretty popular, just like many others such as Boy With Love, Mic Drop, Black Swan, DNA, Save Me (which all have really cool videos and choreography!). But I love the last one (Room Festa) so much is because it covers b-sides and many songs that were not released as singles and don’t have music videos are really among my favorites. You can find live versions for some of those, like Pied Piper, Telepathy, Mikrokosmos, So What, Anpanman, The Truth Untold. But since you seem to be so into music videos and dance, I didn’t recommend those. They are really beautiful songs or live performances (So What always gets me hyped up when I see that on stage and Anpanman just makes me happy, and then Truth Untold makes me cry 😅), but not so much in terms of choreography or video. If you wanna switch it up though, any of those would be good. This doesn’t even get into the rap line though and they have so many amazing songs 😂 I’m so sorry. But you’ll probably have fun whatever you do. 😊🎉

Chicken Noodle Soup is what the poor ate. It was cheap. Milk was too expensive. Soda was the cheap beverage of choice. The lyrics have great cultural meaning. It's not just a bop. It's her life. It's her poetry hip hop style. It's never too late to learn to dance.
OH MY GOODNESS I totally resonate with you saying that there are mainstream raps that talk about negative stuff (guns, drugs, sexual stuff, etc.) and that was exactly why I wasn't open to the rap genre. For the longest time, whenever I heard about rap music, my stereotype was that it's nothing but bad stuff & nothing of value. But when I came across BTS ('cause their old discography was mostly of hip hop influence), I learned that rap can be dope while talking about topics that are considered taboo (mental health, what's your dream, loving yourself, etc.) and are important to everyone, especially the youth.
React also hangsang in Lollapalooza by jhope... it is great. He is the king of the stage. For BTS I guess you should start with "tear" and "cyphers" by bts rap line. You'll get acquainted with our rappers.

In a way before being one of the 3 rappers of the group he's the Main Dancer of the group so in a sense, especially on a Chicken Noodle Soup remake, I'd say him giving half of the track to Becky G makes sense. It's not really 'his thing" in this case compared to "On This Street" but that's how I interpret it

They also have dance practices you'd probably really enjoy too that will show you how good, technically difficult & crazy synchronized they are. In every language (English is not the only available CC) they only translate the Korean lyrics

Chicken Noodle Soup is what the poor ate. It was cheap. Milk was too expensive. Soda was the cheap beverage of choice. The lyrics have great cultural meaning. It's not just a bop. It's her life. OH MY GOODNESS I totally resonate with you saying that there are mainstream raps that talk about negative stuff (guns, drugs, sexual stuff, etc.) and that was exactly why I wasn't open to the rap genre. For the longest time, whenever I heard about rap music, my stereotype was that it's nothing but bad stuff & nothing of value. But when I came across BTS ('cause their old discography was mostly of hip hop influence), I learned that rap can be dope while talking about topics that are considered taboo (mental health, what's your dream, loving yourself, etc.) and are important to everyone, especially the youth.

In a way before being one of the 3 rappers of the group he's the Main Dancer of the group so in a sense, especially on a Chicken Noodle Soup remake, I'd say him giving half of the track to Becky G makes sense. It's not really 'his thing" in this case compared to "On This Street" but that's how I interpret it

I agree with the comment below, JHOPE & the other BTS boys are not your typical stars, they are genuinely humble, kind, funny. deep & thoughful - this just is who they are.
They have other content that shows their real personalities eg. "RUN BTS" a game show, "IN THE SOOP" & "BON VOYAGE" their travel stay-cations & vacations or their "RISE OF BANGTAN SERIES." They also have dance practices you'd probably really enjoy too that will show you how good, technically difficult & crazy synchronized they are. This is aside from all the mvs they have as individuals and a group. Maybe you'd also enjoy WALE & RM's "Changes" collab? Enjoy!!

If you only mentioned music I might not say this but since you brought up that you wanted to be a dancer I'm going to recommend you check out some of the BTS dance practice videos. I love dance too and BTS absolutely KILLS it every time with their choreography. You don't even have to react to it just watch it for your own love of dance.
