From my own 937 kit, I removed the coolant sensor plug, manifold sensor plug, IAC plug and TPS plug from my old harness. If you need a wire reference, please message me and I'll be glad to help you out.
I also found out the 937 kit has shorter wires by two to three feet, as the ECU is not designed to be mounted under the seat.
You listed the floor mount as 554-107. It is 554-157. Great video. Thank you for the information and links. VERY helpful.
Thanks for the feed back and correction on that part number!
Thanks for the vid. gives me a heads up on install im about to do on my 347/ Vortech T trim/ Term X install so much for the plug and play they get us all to buy into LOL
Lol yah, hopefully you don't suffer like I did 🤣
@@superbrowndudenational_trx uh oh, care to elaborate? What kind of mess am I in for?
Just the lack of sensors and having to add some wire to the harness. It would likely be better to mount the ecu where the stock one was. Then you wouldn't have to add wire. You still need to source sensors tho!
I don’t know how you figured out where all that wiring goes 🤷♂️I have headache just watching the video 😅 I am impressed 👍 keep up the good work and hopefully everything goes smooth with the build 👍👍
Thanks buddy, yah I don't know how either. We shall see, hopefully fire it up next week!
@@superbrowndudenational_trx post the video when you fire up foxyroxy would love to see that my Brother 👍Best of Luck again 🍀🤘🤘
Thanks for the support brother 👊🏾
When I heard the Ford kit was going away I looked up the harness differences between the universal kit and the F kit and bought those harnesses from summit etc. Bought the seat bracket also. Not sure if they're still out there but that's a possibility also. Thanks
If your using the seat bracket you will need to lenthgen some wires for it to fit. I would install it under the dash so you don't have to!
On the iac with the purple wires do you have the diagram on which hooked up to what
I do not unfortunately, but you should be able to pick them up from the video
Wiring is always a good time eh? Haha! Will it be faster than the Buick?
Lol such a pain! No way, the Buick will still be faster!
How can I contact you to get the wiring info for using the stock plugs. Thanks man if appreciate bunches. Currently in process of installing and I didn’t know all this extra was needed.
I know your pain all to well lol. Shoot me a message on IG @National_TRX
What wires were to short to go under the seat? Just the power harness, or the main harness?
The main harness as this particular kit isn't designed for under the seat. It's designed to be mounted where the factory ecu is.
Got it! Thank you, I'm about to order this kit and i was debating where to put the new ecu. Thanks for the video, its very useful now that the "F"kit is unavailable
For sure man!
So in theory could a GM IAC be ran on this car without any mod to harness or throttle body?
I don't think that's correct
What adapter did you use for your IAC sensor?
Used the Ford IAC, in the video it will show you what pins you need to move around and what wires to cut.
This sounds dumb but do you know which screws you need to mount the ECU to the bracket?
Bud, I'm the king of dumb. I thought wiring this would of been smooth lol. I used M6 x 16mm bolts and nuts. Really any 3/4 inch long bolt will work of your thread choice.
@@superbrowndudenational_trx hell yeah, thank you
Any updates on your mustang?
Whoa, someone cares about Roxy hahah. Actually lost some interest in it because I couldn't get it to run correctly. So I left it for about a year, hoping to get it in better shape in the next few weeks! Thanks for asking!
Well f*ck me ,just now finding this out after freshly ripping the old harness out🫠 thanks for the info
Hopefully this video can save you some pain lol
