people raved about the ch'king, but both times I got it, it was as mid as it gets. Half of it was nice, juicy chicken. The other half was mostly breading, with the tiniest amount of (completely dry) chicken.
Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich was always better, and more consistent.

You guy do realize the spicy ch-king is the exact same as the non spicy ch-king right? The only difference is they drizzle a spicy sauce on it and label it as spicy. Making spicy chicken this way is generally considered lazy and cheap while the sauce hides the low quality chicken. Then again, dumb American are obsess with making anything spicy also needing to be sweet to sell anything
Look at the best spicy chicken sandwiches such as chick filas and Popeyes. They don't need to drizzle it in a sauce because their chicken speak for itself.
You are absolutely right. The chicken sandwich that they got rid of was so good. Seasoned, thick and just good. If they would let people customize their $5 orders they would see their sales go up cus their nuggets are trash. Just my opinion
I share your love of the Rodeo Burger. As a former BK manager, I enjoyed the freedom of creating my own sandwich for lunch. My go-to was two Whopper patties with cheese and bacon, topped with BBQ and onion rings, Rodeo style, sometimes adding the crispy jalapeño strips when available. Another great variation is starting with a Big King as a base, using the same toppings, but adding Zesty sauce to the middle bun. Mama-slappin' goodness.
I love spicy food and that ghost pepper orange burger that they had last year for Halloween was really good and had the most heat out of any fast food item that I’ve ever had by far!! I was actually shocked at how spicy it was!!

True, I appreciate you taking these deals from BK. They have some of the most fixable issues with their food, but get dogged on everywhere I go because they focus on the wrong stuff and serve us mid. They just shut down the one near me because none of the college kids went there anymore.
If they change some of this stuff and put out a "we revamped our menu, check it out", maybe we're getting somewhere.

Burger King Nuggets are Raccoon Nuggets. That is why they taste off you're eating raccoon ankle chicken fries LOL. No Nuggets ever should be $0.88 or a dollar for 10 that tells you they're just giving them away and you do not want to know what's inside of that.

There's always some small quality control issue at BK whenever I go. There meat used to always be cold whenever I went, and then they fixed that and now they always forget tomatoes on every sandwich I order. IDK why BK can't fix their quality control where I live and just successfully give the ingredients and quality they advertise w/ their pictures.

Eddie from Barstool Chicago has consistently said for a very long time that the Rodeo Burger is the best burger at BK & they should advertise around it & push it more

If you love the rodeo burgers. Try it this way…order a bacon king plain add mayonnaise, bbq sauce, and onions rings. It used to be on the menu as a rodeo king but they’ve since removed

i have a love-hate relationship with BK because of the things they did wrong in the past.
for example, a year or two ago me and my husband went to BK to get burgers and he got the triple pattie bacon king. when we got the food and checked it, it only had two patties and no bacon. i went inside and told them, with the receipt in hand and they wanted to act like i was in the wrong because of 'how i ordered' and was 'just missing a couple items'.
Do a cuban food review.. get pan con bistec. Picadillo.. and vacca frita with morro rice. Thats black beans and rice mixed together and platino maduro. Thats sweet fried plaintains. Fire my guy..

Corporate fast food chains can’t actually make decently spicy food because their target market would shrink further. It’s all just marketing. Never expect fast food to actually be spicy.
It’s not a visit to BK if they haven’t forgotten something. 😂 I swear they have some unsung code about not serving their food above 100F. Doesn’t matter which BK I go to, which day or time of day…food is always served to me cold.

Fiery chicken fries definitely was around a year or two ago. They gave my daughter chicken fries in that box and she refused to touch them. I’ll never forget how pissed she was that day.

Not everyone had terrible experiences with certain restaurants, as quality depends on location.
That and average restaurant quality DEFINITELY used to be higher.
BK was affordable in the App years ago. $3.99 for 2 Jr whopper and 2 fries.
Now it's $7.99 in the App....

i've said this for oh I dunno 30 years now...Burger King is Hot Garbage. The ONLY exception is I like their Halloween Ghost Pepper Whopper. That is Spicy and it is good, and for a BK item it is great. Everything else they have is just degrees of bad. I know of a different food reviewer who loves BK and I've commented to her about it and she replied that she doesn't understand it either, lol If I had to, yeah, I'd get the fiery whopper but everything else is clearly Hot Garbage. Thanx for sharing, and I'm sorry you had to put yourself thru BK lol!

Tried them yesterday, minus the chicken sandwich, and I gave the fiery strawberry Sprite 4/10, fiery Whopper 7/10, fiery mozzarella fries 7.5/10 (nice and fresh), and fiery chicken fries 5/10. Not bad and I def still love BK, especially their whoppers, but like everything else they getting a bit too expensive for fast food.

don’t feel badd king, bk got me too earlier today omw to work I decided to stop there and not even aware of the new fiery menu so I went with the large order of fiery mozzarella fries (which for me I really enjoyed) and the fiery bacon pepper jack cheese chicken sandwich combo with onion rings and large coke and lawrddd and behold they forget my spicy bacon and pepper jack cheese 🥴😂😂 oh the fiery chicken sandwich was literally at best 3 out of 10 - good stuff my dude
im telling you right now if you want something spicy that you normally wouldn’t think is, go for the spicy mc crispy at mcdonalds and get extra spicy pepper sauce.

the change from the Chi'king (spelling?) to the Royal line of chicken sandwiches was so astonishingly wrong. was Chi'king just too expensive for them to distribute? i can't imagine the distinct loss in sales, since we talk about so often how much we dislike the Royal line, would be worth it at all. yet they have stood by it. Corporate makes wrong decisions all the time regardless of chain, IT company, finance, etc. They all somehow always seem clueless to the customers.
They stated is was too time consuming to make.

The last time I went to Burger King, they told me they were out of burgers, but I could order a chicken sandwich. I just walked away and went somewhere else. I was like how can you call yourself the burger king and be out of burgers? I haven't been back since.

I think the rodeo burger or the bk hamburger was the last $1 burger from the 3 major chains also my favorite the chicken jr is whack I had one a few weeks ago gave the second one away couldn’t do it like a big chicken nugget not a fan of the breading the long chicken sandwiches used to be better same thing soggy chicken nuggets I’m not a fan of that kind of breading Wendy’s are decent and McDonald’s used to be the go to as a kid but I haven’t been there in years it would be smart of these places to give more options change out the nuggets for another fry or something else similar in price give another burger instead of nuggets something that’s a better deal I always just got the burgers and if fries had a coupon or free fry Fridays that’s usally it buy a bag cook them at home for what they charge at these fast food places for a large fry

The Spicy chicken fries were a thing a few years ago. I loved them and the spicy nuggs. They took them away and then brought back spicy and saucy nuggs which were dogshit

It looked like they gave you extra fiery sauce and forgot the glaze completely. They used to have a chicken tendercrisp sandwich years ago that was so good and they got rid of it, their new one much like Mcdonalds mccrispy tastes sweet to me and I can't stand it. Plus the texture is off
