As a filipino, I didn't even see Luna & Sol being a pinoy baiting because they really are curious and loved Philippines. They even visit and stay very long in the PH. They didn't pinoy baiting just for views and money. But they really are curious about the PHILIPPINES. And really supporting PPop group that they've watched and loved. They are just recording and sharing what the things they've been learning and exploring in PH. And they are here now for a very long time. Not like other RUclips channels that they are just for the views and faking to be interested in PH and didn't yet visit PH.

No. Actually, we did have nightclubs or what we called disco houses back in the '70s, '80s, and '90s, and it was a popular trend during those days, where people would get partners or even danced solo to whatever kind of music the DJ was playing. But over the years, that trend disappeared. I don't know if there are still clubs like that nowadays.

You won’t hear Christmas carols because you are living in condo. You should go down to the community streets and live w a Filipino family. By that time, you won’t like it anymore because every night you need to prepare money for the carollers haha. Sometimes there are a lot of carollers in a night with envelopes in a big group with great performances and you will be shy not to give money or say “tawad” because they give their best in singing with matching guitar, drums and tambourines. Haha
sol and luna, it feels like friendships are shallow because you live in condos where everyone is almost just keeping to themselves unlike if you live in a local village or townhouse apartments, that is when you will most likely experience neighbors that want to connect and you'll get invited to their private gatherings and stuff...

@@thewinedingdownpodcast yeah. even in parts of the city that has a purely local community but with townhouse apartment rentals, there is plenty of such in Quezon City, Pasig and Paranaque, Las Pinas. I live townhouse apartments in Makati and lived in a condo. I never developed any close friendships within the condo but in the townhouses, neighbors are usually helpful and inviting since there is always a mom or a granma, grandpa, grandkids that is left after the adults leave for work. It is usually during birthdays that they invite you, then if you arent home, they will receive your parcel for you 😃 cant do that in condos. there will be neighbor adults working in BPO and i got invited once to join their long weekend trip to an island in Bicol and after that, they wold always invite me again in their weekend escapades or just to have coffee in BGC or Makati when its their day off. im the one thats not spontaneous as i like to keep to myself most of the time but do feel relaxed that if anything, i can knock on my neighbors' door or msg on of the newfound neighbor friends.

I don't think you're pinoy baiting. I've been watching your videos I think like almost 2 years ago. And prolly people who are saying that are just envious of SB19. They are not A'tin I supposed just using the fandom's name to sow hatred among other people.
"Pinoy baiting'? It is subjective for me. Jealous vlogger used to say that. We are happy if non-Filipinos feature and promote our place, culture, foods, our land, our people our interests and even our language.
That thing about friendship, on shallow friendship... Maybe not really the case or it could be... For some people there are considerations to get into deep friendship... In my case, i dont get too close when i cant take responsibility for EVERYTHING because true friendship for me is like family.. when i limit engagement it doesnt mean i dont care.. i still hold these people as dear, and wish every good thing for them....
