I have an idea for a vid:)
Asking AI to make an aquascape and you give your best shot at replicating it😅
vallisneria x dwarf sag meadow pleeease🙏🙏🙏
"Naughty Rocks" lmao!!!
Fun build!
I didn't know I could be selling my mulberry leaves. Hahaha
Less than a week and MD already must compulsively cover Matt's desk with a tank 😂
😂 Was just for the setup. He hasn't even used it yet lol
Really sad that Matt is doing a lot of work now does not have a desk….not a good idea to call in sick. Matt needs his desk back or a bigger desk would be nice. seriously
@lynnmcrae6659 You know Matt does have a desk, right? Also, Matt has literally fallen on his feet with this gig. Who wouldn't want to work with their friend out of a cool fish studio making videos for RUclips and travling around while being paid a wage. Hardly working down a mine, is it.
Maybe this means Matt’s been sacked. 😮
Come clean MD! 😂
@@MDFishTanksgood if you moved it you are forgiven 😂
Who doesn’t like a box full of naughty rocks 😂
😂😂
𝑰𝒕'𝒔 🍆
Oh matron.
I didn’t come here for those drawing skills, but I hope he does more drawing in the future😂
we call it hardscape for a reason!
I lost it when he starts doodling the rocks 😂😂😂
One draw what one dream... you could name this "The Phallus Forrest" 🤣🤣
😂😂😂
Pillars riiiiiight... Pillars 😂
Tank looks excellent as always!
Naughty rocks love it! I hope Matt is feeling much better!
Matt needs to get back to the studio ASAP. MD is building naughty sculpture now! 😂
Matt has day off and comes back to find his desk has been stolen by a shrimp tank lol
I love when we get even a brief shot of the mollies and platties. It's such an underrated tank. I could gaze at it for hours.
Naughty Rocks 🤣 While the Matt is away, the MD will play 😆
I looked at many of your scapes, but I must admit the "naughty rocks" is one of your best nano scapes. I absolutely love it.
Please can I have that piece of awesome MD Art? Lol ❤️🇦🇺
Looking forward to seeing the shrimp completely take over!
I finished watching the video 10 minutes ago and I am still giggling at the “naughty rocks” comments! 😂😅😊
I love the tank MD. Not too many people out there doing shrimp tank builds. I think one day we will need to collab on some sort of shrimp tank build 🙂
I'm watching all the shrimp video's so I can get one running, I'm absolutely in love with a shrimp and snail tank!
My favourite style of MD video! Another great build with lots of fun, useful ideas and commentary.
I can imagine the drawings on your desk in school........haha
Could you do a strictly informational video on a bunch of the different plant varieties and how to care/maintain them? Like what has to be planted in substrate, what doesn’t? What grows tall vs what spreads wide etc… how long plants should live for? Can you cut and replant plant clippings? Stuff like that… Reasons for doing all the layers in substrate, how long the substrate is good for? Love these videos but there’s so much to learn!!
I also think we need more info on plants.
@@enthusiasticworld9626 Google is your best friend.
Those are some naughty looking rocks my friend haha.
Underwater camera perspective would be cool ⛰️🐠🌊🦐🌱
As always what a wonderful scape. I really like the look of that all in one nano aquarium. Shrimp are so interesting to watch. I just hope the shrimp do not feel too dirty with those naughty rocks looming above them.
Naughty rocks 😂 you crack me up! Love this build.
Hope Matt is feeling better soon 😊
Set it up on Matt’s desk, makes sense. The guy doing all the work doesn’t really need one anyway😂
I love that you knew you messed up halfway thru your drawing. 🤣🤣🤣Also love that you left it in. Went from "Oh no..." to "Oh well..."
Have you ever considered making a patio pond type setup? It's very different scaping for a top-down view and it could be a fun change
Thank you for sharing this amazing video and providing such a lovely home for these shrimp! 🙌🏻
Lovely. And the tissue paper trick is great! I’ll be using that. And the gluing the leaves to a stone! Brilliant! Thanks.
I love this tank! I’m getting ready to set up a small shrimp tank and I’ve been trying to decide how to scape it and now I have new ideas. Thanks MD!
recently have had the shrimp bug so this video came out at the perfect time! just got myself some crystal reds and have been loving the journey
MD thank's for another awesome set up. Trust Mate is feeling better. Hope to see him back with you soon.
Such an intricate layout! It's like a living, breathing landscape
Love all your work, MD. If possible, please let Superfish know they need to come to the US. So many great products not available here.
after the naughty rocks, every other sentence became an innuendo *continuous snickering*
A nice little setup! I'm really starting to fall in love with these kind of starter kits, although I have to admit that I don't like open-top tanks so I always only have tanks with lids on them; for some reason I feel that's the way it should be. And also because of that I've never tried floating plants before, but I may try that. I have a small betta cube I've been using as temporary plant storage, I may set that up for some new shrimpies, and this setup here with the naughty pe... pillar rocks is a good inspiration!😄
I love the little angelfish coming to beg for food😊
Loved the piece where you stopped to explain the difference between the two types of shrimp, Ideal for me.
I have a feeling MD REEEEEEAALLLYYYY likes his new backdrop. lol
Oh, and when Matt sets up his desk, I think he needs his own turtle.
Working from home and my systems are down this is what I need 😆
Love your cut the box idea. Sooooo much easier. Thanks for all ur little tips. 😊
@@glpshrimp6301 that’s what duct tape is for 😉😂
buce and shrimp, the best combo
I love the tank! Those blue shrimp are fantastic!
love this video and great setup. i was eyeing one of those uns all in one cubes but didn't pull the trigger yet. i totally agree, shrimp in the aquarium is awesome for the ecosystem and are so fascinating to watch
Love it man, once again the sit down sesh w the info sounded so prefesh
I was just catching up on your videos today and was hoping that you'd do a shrimp tank.
Amazing job as always, these are going to be some very happy shrimp.
"This looks a bit... Dodgy" My dude, you know what you did.
This is awesome, if I upgrade my tank, this is the tank I’ve been looking at getting for my shrimp!
“It’s Mano base black”, pulls out Mano base red😂😂, MD bloopers are subtle but funny
Hey i've been watching forever and just wanted to say it sucks I missed seeing you at aquashella Dallas. I worked at Dallas North Aquarium and just happened to leave to get my neocaridinas into my tank at home when I got a call from my coworker that you'd come to visit the stand. I love your vids and you and SerpaDesign have been a huge influence on my love for aquascaping
Perfect timing this video ive been looking to get my first ever shrimp set up soon but want to research it abit before. like the tank and video :)
Those rock fixtures look awesome and would be great for cichlids too.
It's a naughty henge!
Can really hear the Fish Shop Matt influence in the shrimp related knowledge 😎
Beautiful and a lot of good information. Thank you!
The rock plinths worked quite well. (No comment at all on the drawing. LOL 😂😂😂)
Gotta love a bit of buce. I like superfish products, great range and price point
Love how he goes straight for the rock at the bottom of the pile 😂😂
Love this. Really like the way you take the time to explain everything which is brilliant for the beginner, like me! 😊😊
Anything you touch becomes a magical world for fish 🧚♂️🦐🐠🏰
Very nice setup. Thanks for sharing
Nice tank. I might have to try shrimp. I have never had them. 🤩 Gina
Sometimes a rock is merely a rock. As far as mixing colors on shrimp goes, no worries! They will have cycles where they go brown, then they will eventually color up again as time goes on. Given enough time, you'll have colors and browns at the same time. The browns are cool though- mine always have a lighter racing stripe =)
That drawing 😂 then the actual naughty rock came out the box😂😂
Naughty rocks and forking? Sounds like a good day to me😊
Another great superfish all in one kit there really killing it with these all in one's
Just setup a shrimp only tank myself.
Cool timing between us
Keep up your videos
When you started drawing, I was like "He's going to draw it...HE'S GOING TO DRAW IT!!!!!🤯🤯🤯🤯"
So excited for the salt water build!!
Buces are really pretty aquatic plants but I always fail at them in aquariums long term that's why I kept them emersed in a vivarium and my favorite buce kishii are flowering like crazy.
You should stick Buce on the shrimp cave too!
You said what I thought. Excellent idea.
Shrimp also love wood. As well as boiled carrot, broccoli, spinach and really like bannana.
very beautiful setup nice tanks and shrimp
❤ your content. I watch while taking my chemo treatments!
Sorry to hear that, wishing you all the best, from The Netherlands
What a nice thing to do during that time. I am sure laughter speeds healing. 😊
Filling up Matt’s desk with a shrimp tank and the quiet around the channel I am wondering are the two of you divorced 😂😂
Good video format with the information given at the end aswell
I'd really love to see Superfish products to come to North America. They make some really nice all in one aquariums!
I have frogbit in 1 tall 5 gallon that produces frogbit like mad, it's supplied every tank I have full. I finally figured out it's because it's next to a south facing window. No direct sun, but man does it love it there.
You should get one of those shape cutters that you get for scrapbooking and cut smaller leaf shapes. It would look better in the smaller tank.
I use the lids because of evaporation. I've several like this. You're lucky if the lid doesn't get broken during shipping.
Naughty rocks haha! Love the build. No Matt? I hope he's on the mend
Love the hand drawing! So much better then mine! Lol
My question is why don’t you put the tallest rock in front of the filter to sort of cover it up?
Every time he starts an odd design, I think, "This is it. This is where he jumps the shark." but then at the end it's incredible. His vision in his head has to be seen. Just explaining it never comes through to me.
I have to know where you're from, never heard "jumps the shark" as an expression (southern US American here). All I think of is the Fonz on Happy Days.
@@pink_alchemist That expression is pretty common here in California.
@dognerd7385 can say that's a new one for me! I love it, though. As a georgian/texan, we tend to have our own southern expressions and stick to them hardcore. 🤣 My other half is from NY, and he has really opened my eyes to how different even Americans cultures can be.
So beautiful ❤
That hardscape reminds me of Thors Twins from the movie Hunt for the Red October. Just need a mini sub to finish it off. 😃
I can't even imagine your drawings in gradeschool😅😮😊!
We miss your regular old simple videos
I imagine when Matt comes back:
MD: look at the new tank!
Matt: umm... Is that ...
MD: the Stonehenge tank, yes!
You is toooo funny🤣🤣 not naughty rocks🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Leonardo da Vincis lost blueprint on cardboard... Nice!👌
Men. Give them paper and a pen and they all draw the same thing. 😂
Correction: boy's....lol
Superfish: let's showcase a new tank!
MD: 5:14 say no more!
I was about to buy cherry shrimp today for my 125L community tank but I decided to wait a while and do more research.
MD, your music selection for this video was certainly a choice
I have this exact tank and it’s awesome for my first tank
Caridina also tolerate a wide range of water parameters, I have extremely hard water an they are doing great. They are also the best algae eater there is.
You should scape a square shallow tank with most of it covered by dwarf hairgrass and some bacopa partially emerged with some smaller elder stones and driftwood. Some blue dream shrimps and some nano fish would go great with it !!
It sounds like you have thought of this a long time. I suggest you do it!
Hello, always loved your work. Quick question tho. I've always wanted to get one of these tanks with a built in filter. Aren't you worried the inlet holes of the filer may suck up the new babies?
Naughty rocks. Lol
J'adore.💙💙💙💙
My nano tank with shrimp and chili rasboras is my first successful shrimp breeding and I also used an inert substrate. I only started with two and now I don’t know how many I have.
