I have the older model, just a Lii-500. It will allow charging from the 5 volt port without being plugged into wall charger, so can be used as a stand alone power station. Also, the wall adapter is 2A, so with four batteries being charged, I don't see how it can charge at a rate more than 500 mA per battery, unless there is some internal electronic switching that time shares the 2000 mA during the charge cycle. Very good unit, I have two of them.
