“Remoaners Are ARROGANT!” | Support For Brexit Hits New Low

- On 31 January 2020, the UK officially left the EU after 47 years.
Britain remained in the EU single market and customs union for 11 more months to ease trade, while Northern Ireland had a separate deal.
Brexit sparked deep political and social divisions, with debates over its impact continuing for years.
But now, 55% of Britons say leaving the EU was a mistake, while only 11% see it as more of a success than a failure.
Support for Brexit has hit a new low, with just 30% saying the UK was right to leave, the lowest recorded by YouGov since the 2016 referendum.
Dr David Bull speaks with former Conservative MP and Defence Minister, Sir Gerald Howarth.

Westminster is majority remain and has ensured we are tied firmly to the EU
"our" politicians have actively tried to make Brexit irrelevant for the past 5 years, the Tories and Labour disgust me, Reform 👍👍👍👍👍
agreed, it is the reason why a lot of UK citizens didnt vote in the 2024 election.
The politicians didn't really need to try. Brexit was a failure anyhow.
Why didn’t Nigel run in 2019 election or help with Brexit
@@DeneMonkey so Farage didn't help with Brexit 🤣
Hope you’re prepared to pay for healthcare if Reform win.
Because brexit wasn’t followed through by the tories they just come out of Europe got us crap deals
2 things made brexit fail and they are Lockdowns and tories not believing in brexit, had we had someone who believed in brexit it would of worked and a lot of that is down to open border immigration and lack of trade deals made.
labour and cons are in for a big shock
They won't be the only ones. Vote Reform!
WE NEVER LEFT WE NEED TO LEAVE ALL INTERNATIONAL UNELECTED
CHOP CHOP! OFF YOU EFF!
The united nations, the world trade organisation, NATO? lol
We have been punished for leaving

Stuck Farmer has never any intention of implementing Brexit.. He apposed it when Boris was the PM, and now that the government has changed (for the worse), the country is back to square one.. Doesn't he know that we as a nation, we voted to leave the EU.? Oh I forgot, he is now a dictator.
Don’t you mean Brexit leave campaigners who sold out
Calm down. No one is going to buy you.
Apart from the fact that the real powers that be didn't want to make a successful Brexit, that last five years also coincided with a global pandemic, a war in Ukraine and net zero, which have messed up economies all across the West, particularly the EU countries. Remoaners are trying to blame the consequences of those events on Brexit.
Something no country should ever give up is control of its borders... We've given it up... I can't see much to celebrate 😢
We will never have control of our boarders while the conservatives or Labour run the country our should we go back to being a cashcow for Europe I don't think so.
We...?....you mean those Westminster traitors....🤔🙄😳🇬🇧
Voted leave then and given the choice I'd do the same again. Pity we never left.
Brexit was ok but the UK govt is not ok….
Yeah, in fact Brexit is so ok, most Brexiters feel the urge to deny it ever happened. Happy anniversary.
47yrs and the spiteful EU went out of its way to treat us worse than a 3rd world country and still does at every opportunity.
This is utterly untrue. In fact, the UK got all kinds of rebates and privileges while being in the EU.
Scurrilous lies are obviously the bitter Brexiters' last refuge. This says all one needs to know about u pathetic whingers!
Not sorry for leaving the EU sorry that we had such spineless politicians who failed to implement the peoples vote. Like to see and hear more from Sir Gerald Howarth but as he obviously knows what he is talking about he probably wont be asked to comment again!
You are out. That's all you voted for. So spare us this silly "implementation" nonsense. Happy anniversary, moaners!
No regret in leaving the EU.
But it wasn't a full leave.
The political Labour and tories never wanted the European Union Gravy train to go back to Europe and Brussels, the British people up and down the country are fed up of being dictated to by the European nations telling us what we can and can't do, this is England keep your hands of our country our lives and laws, I want my country back.
We never got the Brexit we voted for, Politicians of all parties saw to that because they thought theh knew better than the plebs. If we had got the full Brexit we would not be in the crap state we are now.
Germany are in & out of recession due to being reliant on Putler's cheap energy, & France have just thrown out Barnier for being a Dictator.
Rejoining that shower would be beneficial to 🇪🇺 coffers only.
Stay out, then! Happy anniversary, whingers!
Correct….nothing to do with the EU. What is the little englander obsession with Germany ? France is has always been Britain’s benchmark.
What about all the other EU states that are booming, including your other next door neighbour ?😊
@trevaudio Why does a supposed trading bloc need an online spying department called the EDMO network?
Then just stay out, stop whingeing, and finally "implement" Brexit. Chop chop! No time to lose, moaners!
@@EUistheFourthReich Because you keep on lying about us in the EU
i would vote leave again i would vote reform ... Stop Rewarding Start Deporting
1 in 6 regret it yet I know nobody who wants to rejoin that voted for brexit 🙄
It is five years since Great Britain (GB) left the EU and nine years since the country voted to leave. I say GB very deliberately since Northern Ireland (NI) was partially left behind, still linked to the EU single market. But more of that later. Our exit from the technocratic, anti-democratic EU has already yielded benefits for GB. First and foremost it means that a sovereign Parliament is elected by the British people and that Parliament, with an executive government, is able to make laws and decisions for itself on behalf of the nation, albeit for good or ill. That freedom and independence would alone be worth paying for, it is a forever thing and the long-term advantages and benefits cannot even be imagined. What is certain is that these would not be available if we were ruled by an unelected European Commission, by a European Parliament full of MEPs elected by other states and dominated by Germany, for undoubtedly Germany now has control of its European project.
You're conflating freedom and independence with outcomes you prefer.
We are free and independent now.
🎉
When will we know when we have taken back control and when will this happen ?
SAVE. THE. CHILDREN
Remoners are loud. Brexit people just stay quiet and vote Reform.
The people for the E.U are the ones who know least about it. Why do two groups of industrialists always meet 3 days before the commission and why do they pass reports on to them, why does the commission then turn these into law, why then do German lawyers step in and assess these laws. What country considers the E.U to be theirs ? all these can be answered if you look they are not hidden. Then there are the 25to 30,000 lobbyists in Brussels with a budget of 3,000,000,000 euros.
Starmer should not be in politics he is a lawyer, not a leader.

To those who say they would never vote Brexit again, given the opportunity, there is nothing wrong with the idea of Brexit, the fault is the politicians who were Hell bent on stopping it , particularly the control on immigration.
When things are bad, the government must find an acceptable scapegoat. Hitler blamed the Jews. Starmer blames Brexit. Never blame their own policies. Surely people see this.
There shouldn't have been any deal just the letter sent saying we have left sorted
remain still preventing brexit-we are not idiots and would not change our decision
1 in 6 leave voters regret leaving which means that 5 in 6 don't so why even talk about this? This is misleading. How many remain voters are now pro Brexit?
Whether you're for or against Brexit, I think it's undeniable that little to no planning was done to mitigate for the consequences.
Privatisation was always going to be a slippery pole.
How much of a Brexit have we achieved?
Compare the last five years with the first five days of Trump being in office in the US with a political will to actually change things .
We can see the political establishment just isn’t interested in delivering Brexit
Being part of the EU by contrast, would mean a commitment to adopt the euro in place of sterling with the European Central Bank setting interest rates irrespective of whether these are suitable for us. We would have to endure: money supply issues which affect inflation and UK taxpayer guarantees of the eu central bank debt , the debt of the other member states bust financial systems and of the many phenomenally expensive financial schemes which are underpinned by Europe's taxpayers. reducing inflation, reducing the cost of living. Similarly, all of the EU trade arrangements with third countries have been rolled over for the UK via independent deals, something that the EU claimed would be impossible prior to leaving, and additional deals have been signed with Australia, New Zealand and with the Trans Pacific partnership adding Malaysia and all of the future potential of that group and any new members which may join. The history of trade deals is that initial predictions underestimate the effects of innovation, the multiplier effects of supply chains and future developments within the parties. There is almost no single market in services within the EU, the single market being designed to sell German manufactures, and yet the UK is able to maintain a services trade surplus with the rest of the world. We can now explore trade deals designed for us rather than be a member of a trade arrangement which was not, the EU was not. There have also been a multitude of small rules and restrictions removed and avoided, all adding to the ability of the UK to outperform Germany and France, at least until the new Government decided to crash the economy. It is remarkable how well the UK has done outside the EU. Despite that, huge potential that remains untapped. The principal reasons for this untapped potential are twofold.
The promise was Law, Borders and Fish.
And the remainers have opposed everything Brexit can give us.
@@ianlarman That's what Leavers keep saying, because they never delivered.
The main problem is that there's no one in the establishment who actually supports Brexit. Including most of the Tories who pretended to.
Why are these councils spending 141mill pounds of our tax money to give illegal immigrants to play or watch play station games mobile phones it's absolutely disgusting.
The psuedo political intellectuals wanted something that many of the public had come to realise was not working and was not worth the money being spent. The fact they got a shock showed them they was out of touch, but like all remainers decided to double down and try and sabotage it at every step. Nigel Farages mistake was to leave it to politicians in Westminster and not stay in a position to actually shape the exit. But since then both labour and tories have done nothing to make anything better regardless of Brexit, we are just as poor if not more, our borders have been obliterated because failing politicians not wanting to do what the public wants them to do for the last 20 years.... reduce immigration. Its been there for so long how many more times will they ignore it? Hence why Reform is going for the full destruction of the tories betrayal, and labour is next. Both of them political parties have brought this country to its knees. It is imperative that we have political change, that we have our rights and our freedoms enshrined in law, that the people are not ignored again and again that lead to voter apathy last year that lumped us with this communist Labour government. We need more freedoms, less tax, a complete stop of foreign aid money being given, a complete halt to legal migration to deal with the problems we have here, and we need to deport every single illegal who came here, and deport all foreign criminals. Its time for the actual British reclaim their countries. We are English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish we are Britons it is our right to have our needs come first in our ancestral homeland before other people with no historical links to this country be given everything without having ever paid into the system that our forebearers did for their whole or most of their lives.
Starmer should just do it, anyone that would care won’t be voting for him anyway.
It was a great New Year party in Parliament Sq..... Reported by BBC & MSM as: just a few supporters attending.
Glad to see it in recent news that Sly News is closing down. 👏👏👏
He is in the wrong job. He seems to support anything that is counter to the interests of the nation.
Starmer you mean of course...🤔😏🇬🇧
You would think Brexit would have more support now.
What is particularly gratifying however is that, as I predicted, far from costing us the earth as suggested by Remainers, our liberty has already spawned benefits. The most obvious and straightforward of these is that the UK no longer has to pay a membership fee which would now be in excess of £24 billion per year. Around a third of this would be spent in Britain but only on projects approved by the EU and effectively promoting the EU. Britain has recently been identified as the second most sought after destination for investment by company CEOs, second only to the USA. Despite the best efforts of a malign EU, London retains a high status as a centre for financial services and trading and Britain’s freedom to set its own regulations enables a fleet of foot approach to maintain London’s exceptional advantages.
your right we paid for polish roads when ours are rubbish,
@@kennethmaley2443 Now you don't. Yet your roads are still rubbish.
So 5 voters in 6 think it right to have left the EU
Starmer knows he's doing a bad job as PM, come to that so as the rest of the party. He's of the opinion that by rejoining the EU he can rest in the he knowledge that they will tell him what to do. Then he can blame the EU for any he likes.
It was not wrong to Leave EU. The EU had, a few years prior, started to move to Authoritarian Rule of Law, demonstrated by the various Laws they're now introducing and forcing through. VDL is a major WEF leader and player. UK Govt had enjoyed the gravy train and happily evading all accountability and responsibility for their own people.
Current illegal immigration was planned 15yrs ago in the EU and few years before that in WEF. When UK "left" the EU, Parliament deliberately chose not to follow through, which effectively kept UK under EU law. The Windsor Framework is just literally framing to Starmer to accept total EU Law over UK once again.
he must be stopped he thinks hes hitler

Brexit was never fully delivered it’s Starmer and the still bitter reman people that never wanted it to succeed, Brexit was all about sovereignty and no being ruled by the unelected bureaucrats of Brussels, while the UK is still beholden to the ECHR a good Brexit can never happen.
You are out. That's all the Brexit you ever voted for. The ECHR is nothing to do with the EU, but of course, you have to suggest otherwise. Whingers!
On the subject of Europe federating, there's a video game that was released over ten years ago called Tom Clancy's EndWar. One of the factions was Europe. And on the game, the EU had federated in 2018. They were called the United States of the European Federation, but the uk was neutral, but we had allowed the European Federation to establish bases on our land. Talk about foreshadowing.
