  • In the description for my blind run on the game's final boss, I said "And that finishing attack would make Kamen Rider Double CycloneJokerXtreme proud. Speaking of Double and this game... I'll get back to it later. Perhaps.", right? Well, here I am getting back:
The five or so people who have switched to the Japanese voice track out of sheer curiosity or because they inexplicably prefer Drummond or Griffith over Smith or whatever have inevitably noted that the announcer for the Wisp powers was redubbed. Fans of the Kamen Rider franchise will instantly recognize said announcer as Fumihiko Tachiki... out of the fact that he says them in the EXACT same way he announces the names of the Gaia Memories in Kamen Rider W! Cue jokes about the Laser, Drill, Rocket, Cube, Hover, Spikes and Frenzy Dopants.
But most importantly, because of that, the Final Color Blaster effectively becomes a love letter of sort to Double's CycloneJoker Xtreme mode (which is analoguous to Super Sonic). In fact, though I can't note it visually, it (probably) IS: said move was redubbed in Japanese as the "Final PRISM Blaster" and Double CJX's sword and shield which he/they use(s) to make people taste the rainbow too by combining colors too are known combined as the PRISM Bicker!
There, have this comparison video of the Final Color Blaster, Final Prism Blaster and CycloneJoker Extreme's debut; just take note of the announcing and rainbow-tasting.
