Our first cruise on P&O Arvia 2nd of April to the med can't wait, i enjoyed your Vlog very much it gave me a god insight on what to expect on board, thanks.
So great to see you have a good time in Norway ... BTW the silent disco is better for those without the headphones as the singing is generally hilarious ... anyway happy cruising in the Med.
We didn’t, we wouldn’t drink that much for it to be worth it. We did get a wine package which saved us a bit of money, and I would again. But other than wine and a cocktail maybe every other evening in the day we just had water bottles and filled them up at the stations around the ship. You also get tea, coffee and juice at breakfast. Have fun!
@@njow7586 if I am remembering right, it’s tea, coffee and juice at breakfast, then the late night buffet has tea, coffee and hot chocolate. You have tea&coffee making facilities in your room as well. So not free all day but you can deffo get a few cups for free every day :)
what proof is needed at check-inn before boarding as from now september 2022..we are pensioners and had our 1st vaccine& then booster shortley after,i think now you have to take the lateral flow / antigen also how do you get proof for the 1st vaccine and the booster?..great vids...keep im up..👍P S...how much are bingo tickets..
When we went in July, we were one of the first cruises that didn’t need a lateral flow test. We did need both vaccines. I’m not sure where they are with that now though. We got our vaccine proof from the NHS app on our phones. We paid £30 for each time we did the bingo, and we got the biggest package. So spent £60 in total but you can definitely spend less as there were loads of packages. Hope this helps :)
So no lateral flow, antigen test required prior to boarding now. Just NHS app records of vaccines? Love the video travelling on Iona in 3 weeks time 👌🏾👌🏾
I don’t remember the exact name of the trip but it was to Briksdal Glacier, and it said about the buggy’s in the description along with something about the cakes. I hope that helps a little bit!
We didn’t buy the drinks package, but we did buy a 6 bottle wine package, and would do the same on our next cruise. You pay £40pp per day for the drinks package and we found that we spent probably half of that per day so wouldn’t have worked out for us. You can take water bottles and fill them up at water fountains on the ship, and free tea/coffee and juice at breakfast, so only drinks we payed for were in the evening. Hope that helps! :)
We were on her 10 September for 7 nights to the the Norwegian Fjords… fantastic views, beautiful ship a bit too big for our liking .. but the clientele were really rough … won’t be booking another P&O cruise again, it was like a scene from Benidorm .. some couldn’t even hold a knife and fork properly 😮 prefer Cunard or Asmara
Seems as though you spent most of your cruise worrying about what others were doing and not enjoying your cruise. I go on cruises and pretty much couldn't care less what others are doing unless it impact on me.
This has got me so excited for my cruise in Feb
Eeek where are you going? 💕
Really enjoyed that... Thanks for posting.
Got the feeling you were just being yourself which for me added a nice natural feel to the video
Thank you!

What trip did you go on in Olden on the 4x4s and those cakes.

Hi , we went on iona on 1 april this year and had photos taken by a photographer near ship stairs . But wondered how to claim the photos. Thanks
We got ours on board at the photo area. Not sure if you can call them up and see if you can still order!
Iona was our first cruise in September. Looks like you had an epic time like us. We’ve rebooked for June next year 😄
So glad you had a great time! We’re on Arvia next July, counting down the days😊
