There are a lot of songs now days about how the West is in dire straits, but this might be the first I've seen that actually acknowledges that it isn't really the fault of the newer generations, but in fact the older generations. Most politicians are over 50 years old and they know for a fact that the policies they push are dystopian and short-sighted, but they don't care. So long as they profit from the suffering of the people who "elected" them. Very based song, all in all.
Whilst I do agree that it's not _primarily_ the fault of the younger generation (who perhaps wasn't even alive when things were set in motion), I still find these songs... divisive? I don't really agree with the message of the song - like, yes, our country is in a sorry state of affairs, but it's no-one's particular fault. Is it the fault of the politicians? Sure, partially. Is it the fault of the immigrants? Sure, also partially. Is it the failure of the system, the politicians, the immigrants, the wider majority of people who only see the immigrants as cheap, second-class labour and apply their own stereotypes against them, thus causing an "us vs them"-mentality, furthering the descent into crime as second-generation immigrants feel like they have nothing to lose by turning to crime? Also yes. I'm a social-democrat, but even I can say that the system is fucked and desperately needs reform - but we can't pin it on one definite group - all of us helped fuck it up, wether we like it or not.
Its not just Sweden, I live in Rotterdam and work in the Hague, its frustarting how much ppl in Amsterdam and Utrecht turn a blind eye to the problems cause by mass immigration

My brother in Europeanism, multiculturalism brought us pizza, kebab, gyros and so much more. It has positives and also negatives, as with anything in life. We caused the crime, we caused the "otherness" by not giving them an actual opportunity to get good wages and a good job - believe me, 90% of immigrants I've met have been nothing but lovely, hard-working. Malaysia and Sweden are in totally different parts of the world and have very different cultures and history, but they are both ethno-states in the sense that they are nations whose name and identity comes from their historical ethnicity, Malays and Swedes respectively. The people are inseperable from the identity of the nation, and when you gradually replace the native population, the nations names lose their meaning and they lose their identity. They just become another globalist melting pot of squabbling factions trying to get along. Absolutely, no one's denying it - however, the problem isn't just "muh immigrants are uncivilised and should be deported", it's literally because we, the majority-population, look down upon them and refuse to help them lift themselves out of ghettoized poverty and give them an actual chance to get good wages and respectable jobs. Crime arises when people see no other way to sustain themselves and get nice things by lawful means. Finnish and Yugoslav gangs were a massive pain in the ass during the 60s, 80s and 90s, but they've now stopped - why? I was born in 1995 and I might be part to of the last generation that knew a safe Sweden. This knowledge hurts like hell, knowing that those older than me and those in power let this happen, knowing that my future children won't grown up feeling safe, knowing that people are still blind to this. I don't even feel safe anymore. When I voice these fear I get called a racist and told that I am hateful. I pray to God in heaven each day that I will never get a daughter, and that is something absurd to pray about, to pray that I may never get a beautiful baby girl. It is messed up. There was an angry pimp living where I lived as a kid but even he was kind and had a human side. When I one day got locked out and my parents was away for a few hours he took care of me, a fucking pimp! He was a trustworthy fellow back then, I was safe with him! When I as a teenager I could walk home feeling safe, having my headphone in while walking home in the middle of the night and just know that I would get home in the end of the day. These days I can't... I feel unsafe at night, and during daytime, we have shootings and bombings almost every day here. The papers say it was "Swedes" who did it, but the pictures show people who are from various sandy countries. I wish I could go back in time... I miss my country... Some days I feel like moving to a country that still believes in itself, like Finland or Poland, I really want to just be a proud Swede, or at the very least a Germanic European... There's not many proud Swedes in Stockholm anymore :/ Today it's even offensive to ask if a dad is man and father anymore...

I'm french and I've lived in Parisian banlieue, and still visit my family there often. The same political parties that were throwing rocks at Catholics procession 50 years ago are now celebrating the start and end of the Ramadan with Muslims leaders. Reserving them a full stadium. They allow drug trafic and aggression of native people because "it's not criminals, just young people that need money and some fun". Cars are being burned every month, sometimes in front of my grandmother house, the neighbours don't speak french and do drugs. Girls have been killed for not wearing hijabs, the Muslims children don't want to listen to music in the schools because it's forbidden by their religion. I have a friend who has been killed while coming back home late at night. He was only nineteen. Poles and Portuguese from our social housings have been kicked out by Muslims or forced to convert to their religion. It's so hard to be left alone and humiliated on the ground where your parents and grandparents were once living in peace. My grandmother has known German cruelty and occupation when she was a child and it hurts me so much to see her having to live in that kind of environment in her old days.
Immigrants are fine. Too many is not. I recently visited Sweden, it wasn’t as bad as I thought, but I can’t say much for I didn’t explore more than Göteborg och Stenungsund. Whilst I do agree that it's not _primarily_ the fault of the younger generation (who perhaps wasn't even alive when things were set in motion), I still find these songs... divisive? I don't really agree with the message of the song - like, yes, our country is in a sorry state of affairs, but it's no-one's particular fault. Is it the fault of the politicians? Sure, partially. Is it the fault of the immigrants? Sure, also partially. Is it the failure of the system, the politicians, the immigrants, the wider majority of people who only see the immigrants as cheap, second-class labour and apply their own stereotypes against them, thus causing an "us vs them"-mentality, furthering the descent into crime as second-generation immigrants feel like they have nothing to lose by turning to crime? Also yes.
I'm a social-democrat, but even I can say that the system is fucked and desperately needs reform - but we can't pin it on one definite group - all of us helped fuck it up, wether we like it or not.

As a Malaysian i can relate to this song very much. We are currently having the same issue as Sweden but I think the Malaysia issue on immigration is bigger than Sweden. In my whole life I have never had a day where I understand a word from strangers and it is difficult to differentiate between local and immigrants because Indonesian faces look like Malays, Chinese (Local) have similar face/languages with Mainlanders (PRC), Indian (Local) having similar faces with Bangladeshi and Indian from India. Absolutely, no one's denying it - however, the problem isn't just "muh immigrants are uncivilised and should be deported", it's literally because we, the majority-population, look down upon them and refuse to help them lift themselves out of ghettoized poverty and give them an actual chance to get good wages and respectable jobs. Crime arises when people see no other way to sustain themselves and get nice things by lawful means. I was born in 1995 and I might be part to of the last generation that knew a safe Sweden. This knowledge hurts like hell, knowing that those older than me and those in power let this happen, knowing that my future children won't grown up feeling safe, knowing that people are still blind to this. I don't even feel safe anymore. When I voice these fear I get called a racist and told that I am hateful. I pray to God in heaven each day that I will never get a daughter, and that is something absurd to pray about, to pray that I may never get a beautiful baby girl. It is messed up.
There was an angry pimp living where I lived as a kid but even he was kind and had a human side. When I one day got locked out and my parents was away for a few hours he took care of me, a fucking pimp! He was a trustworthy fellow back then, I was safe with him! When I as a teenager I could walk home feeling safe, having my headphone in while walking home in the middle of the night and just know that I would get home in the end of the day. These days I can't... I feel unsafe at night, and during daytime, we have shootings and bombings almost every day here. The papers say it was "Swedes" who did it, but the pictures show people who are from various sandy countries. I wish I could go back in time... I miss my country...
Some days I feel like moving to a country that still believes in itself, like Finland or Poland, I really want to just be a proud Swede, or at the very least a Germanic European... There's not many proud Swedes in Stockholm anymore :/

That being said, making excuses for the same people flooding these countries, criticizing said flood as “racism” and “bigotry” and justifying it because of the West’s meddling in their regions, is not only stupid, it’s dangerous.
Western nations may have invaded MENA several times, but we haven’t tried to force our Western culture so brutally in a long time.
Meanwhile, their entire religion revolves around violently suppressing “infidels” and colonizing everything in the name of their religion and culture.
It shows now. There aren’t Europeans or Americans ganging up in the streets of Riyadh or Baghdad or Damascus or Beirut, raping, murdering and fighting in the streets. But we have that going on in Western nations - even some Eastern ones.
