I assigned Q to rudder left, E to rudder right and W to rudder center. Works quite well. Besides u can add BetterMouseYoke plugin which is awesome. It provides a msfsx type mouse yoke (and more!). With the BMY, it is also possible to rudder by left mouse button and drag, which is difficult at the beginning. But after some practise, it works like a charm.
Yeah I used to have it in the middle but then my I uninstalled X-Plane 11 and re installed it about 8 months later and my mouse control and my joystick are not working
Only views. Cannot control x plane with keys. Mouse or joystick. When the mouse is over the yoke or any control you can move the cursor changes to an arrow. Hold down mouse button and hold the control to fly. Its not easy but with practice you can.
Go to the install.exe in the x plane 11 folder and run it. You will see an option for clicking on new scenery regions. It will install and away you go. You can do this anytime. May take some time to download.
hey when i load the CRJ200 my mouse yoke box disappears and it only happens for that particular plane and it leeds me to a restart cuz after loading crj, there is no mouse yole box unless i restart x plane what should i do for it

Point into the wind and fly sideways the rudders straighten just as you touch down. Must keep aileron into the wind OR fly straight and put bank in to stop the drift. How can I fly Cessna 172 without a joystick or yolk? I tried multiple times but the plane kept rotating to the left and vibrating vigorously. It finally crashed. I gave up the task finally. What keys should I press on the keyboard in order to let the nose of the jet pitch up?
When you move your mouse over the yoke it will change to 4 arrows. When it does hold down the left mouse button. This grabs the joystick. You can still use the keys to control power the F keys. Its not that hard mate. Try again. ;)
@@leungevan1923 no you have to use a mouse, controllers can be used i think and joystick is the option. Maybe your climbing to fast. 75 knots is the climb speed.

@RajbirSingh-ol5qo Not sure my friend! Needs a joystick, yoke and I'd recommend rudder pedals as they are an important part of flying. There are some good packs out there like the Thrustmaster 1600 with stick, Throttle and pedals. Cheapest complete option I know of. All the best. Oh controller is apparently OK but not tried it.

You would have to reassign buttons i think and ensure you have a central neutral. I would use the num pad and have 5 as neutral all controls. Hi, I downloaded a demo version for XPlane 11 and started a new flight by selecting VHHH airport. I was successfully took-off the Cessna 172. However, once I looked down at the airport, I found that only the two runways were shown on my screen without any skyscrapers encircling HK. Will this happen when I purchase a full version of XPlane 11, thx.
The demo only has a small area. When you install the full program you can select the area in the world to get scenery for. You cant test till you download the whole game. The objects slider will dictate how much you see. I would think you will get good scenery but i have not flown in Hong Kong.

is it possible to invert the mouse for the elevators? i mean to push up to nose up and pull down to nose down. I know, it's even more unrealistic but with a mouse it's just weird to simulate the yoke. it would be easier to be able to point where you want to go.

+Isaac Miller Hi ... If you go to the settings you can select the function you want to allocate then bind it to that control. Im getting really annoyed this these rudders, as when Im taking off nothing is happening when I use them which is causing me to veer off the runway :( If someone can help me i’d appreciate it
It's be3n quite a while since I made this so I'm a bit fuzzy. There is a key allocation to make the rudder work so just recheck the video because I'm sure it's in there. likely,not setup,just 100%. 😀
If you have purchased the sim and have a code you dont have to purchase anything else. Simply run the installer and select scenery then click on the map. Those regions will download and you can fly there. You have to buy x plane 11 before you can get more scenery. In demo mode you only have 15 min and the default area. Hope this helps

@@GunniesLetsFlyVFR I honestly didn't know those control sensitivity were available for mouse but no needed now, I've mastered the mouse for single engine planes with mouse sensitivity turned down in the windows that can be toggled with an autohotkey script. Very neat setup until I can get my hands on real hardware. Looking forward to your new video!

I dont think you can use google play but if your getting the.mobile version. Its 80 gigabyte i believe. The scenery is the same in all versions. I dont know anything about mobile x plane11 unfortunately. ;)

I play much simpler games where it is perfectly possible to use only the mouse and the keyboard to fly a plane ... This X-Plane, despite being an incredible game, has a terrible piloting system ... Simply, the developers do not they know how to develop a game so that someone can easily play with the keyboard and mouse. You move the mouse a little and you're already doing pirouettes, you can't keep the plane in line for a second, if you fall to the left, to align again to the center is hell ...
@@faridayasmin8224 Prepar3d seems to work fine with mouse control, same with FSX. Currently trying to get into X-Plane 11 but the base mouse sensitivity is way too high and the "control sensitivity" only seems to affect the linearity of input but not the base sensitivity.

Hello Emirikan, you can use the mouse to hold the controls. Anytime you see the mouse cursor turn into arrows you can hold down the left mouse button and grab the yoke and fly. I think this is the only option. It is how I flew the aircraft in the video. If you look at the mouse cursor you can see its changed to 4 arrows. Hold the LEFT mouse button down and hold the yoke.
@@dash7075 If you click near the middle of the yoke it will disappear. Hold near the handle and the cursor will change to 4 arrows then you can grab it.

+Skywalker You can zoom in and out with . & , then q & e rotate your view. R & f raise and lower the view. W will give you pilot view. Save views using ctr + numpad. I set up pilot view using the controls and save it with ctr & numpad 8. I use the q to rotate left then save ctr & 7. Then rotate more to look over the wing and save ctr & 4. Hold them down togwther to save the view. Arrow keys also can move you. To save a zoomed in radio view use the controls to move your view or your mouse. Zoom in the save it with holding CTR plus another num pad key like 6. I hope this helps.
Everything has a keyboard shortcut. You will find them in the controller menu. Where you set up a joystick. Maybe a keyboard sheet on the google. X plane keyboard shortcuts maybe.

The rudder is hard to use, coz when I press one button e.g right rudder(key s)etc it completely goes right

Id say its your objects settings. This may remove buildings if it is to low

Hi Adrian. I believe it should still work with the mouse. If you hold the right mouse button you can hold the yoke if you want to fly it. ;)
Which key is used for yoke up and down
There is no key to control the joystick. You have to grab it with the mouse. Left mouse button and hold the top of the yoke or joystick. :)

About 80 gig. Just download what you need. You can add or remove anytime at no cost. You choose what you want. Add latter if you wish.
There is also no mouse option in the settings ... Just ridiculous ... Until flight simulator 98 I can configure the mouse.

Unfortunatly x plane can not be flown by keyboard. You can use the mouse and get a joystick or a controller.

I would love if it could mimic geo-fs for controls. Mouse for ailerons and elevators is horrible. Way too twitchy.

That's an easy one. Tick the box on the General or first.menu. there is a show contoller areas or something like that. Tick and they will be gone :) 😀

Pull back on the stick when you at 60 knots ... check your trim wheel hasnt moved full forward stopping you from take off.

You should get a region like china or australia etc not just a small area.

I play much simpler games where it is perfectly possible to use only the mouse and the keyboard to fly a plane ... This X-Plane, despite being an incredible game, has a terrible piloting system ... Simply, the developers do not they know how to develop a game so that someone can easily play with the keyboard and mouse.
You move the mouse a little and you're already doing pirouettes, you can't keep the plane in line for a second, if you fall to the left, to align again to the center is hell ...
Can you recommend me any of those flight sim games where i can manage with just keyboard and mouse
@@faridayasmin8224 Prepar3d seems to work fine with mouse control, same with FSX. Currently trying to get into X-Plane 11 but the base mouse sensitivity is way too high and the "control sensitivity" only seems to affect the linearity of input but not the base sensitivity.
+Cauê Coelho I agree that its very hard to fly with a mouse and keyboard. I don't think the creators ever really thought there would be as many people as there are playing with a mouse. I think they expected people to get a joystick to play it. I hope you enjoy it. Its amazing to fly especially in VR. I hope you can get a joystick to really appreciate how good a sim this is. Hello Emirikan, you can use the mouse to hold the controls. Anytime you see the mouse cursor turn into arrows you can hold down the left mouse button and grab the yoke and fly.
I think this is the only option. It is how I flew the aircraft in the video. If you look at the mouse cursor you can see its changed to 4 arrows. Hold the LEFT mouse button down and hold the yoke.
@@GunniesLetsFlyVFR yes but this does not happen with the boeing 737, the yoke disappears. I wish there were checks in fsx: /
@@dash7075 If you click near the middle of the yoke it will disappear. Hold near the handle and the cursor will change to 4 arrows then you can grab it.

+Skywalker You can zoom in and out with . & , then q & e rotate your view. R & f raise and lower the view. W will give you pilot view. Save views using ctr + numpad. I set up pilot view using the controls and save it with ctr & numpad 8. I use the q to rotate left then save ctr & 7. Then rotate more to look over the wing and save ctr & 4. Hold them down togwther to save the view. Arrow keys also can move you.
To save a zoomed in radio view use the controls to move your view or your mouse. Zoom in the save it with holding CTR plus another num pad key like 6. I hope this helps.

Everything has a keyboard shortcut. You will find them in the controller menu. Where you set up a joystick. Maybe a keyboard sheet on the google. X plane keyboard shortcuts maybe.

Yes hard to call it a good one. I agree .. its pretty hard with the mouse that's for sure. I have just got a logitech 3d pro so im sure all will improve. ;) Just a bit of fun.
