Just a little explanation, the people who carry the floats (costaleros), hold the weight with their necks, not shoulders. There are structures made of wood inside that they use to hold the float, and you place your neck in those structures. Other than that great video!
Sólo una pequeña anotación: algunas de las figuras de cristo son mucho más antiguas que 100 años. En Sevilla las más antiguas datan de principios del año 1600. No sé si te quedaste más días, pero la madrugá es con diferencia el momento más importante y con más afluencia de público de la semana santa. Saludos desde la provincia de Huelva
Muchas de las imagenes de la semana santa de sevilla son muy antiguas. Algunas son de principios del siglo XVI y algunas de las hermandades son del siglo XIV.
