Amazing Australian machines, I have a great chat with one of the engineers on a trip home from Bangkok five hours of his knowledge problems there had with valves splitting when changing over the Motors to diesel , gear sets . When we lands in Perth his wife said sorry to me for having to here all that but I told her the best flight that I had
@@matthewmcarthur1204 if you’d like I’ll go hook up my own massy sunshine header to a chamberlain n strip some wheat just for 4 secs of footage, will that make ya happy mate?
sorry mate i rushed the video out. i didn't realize they were unveiling the giant chamberlain so soon, i was planning on reaching out to anyone that i used a part of there video. i was going to have a generic wheat farm intro but i seen the chamberlain stripping and knew that was perfect, mate i am sorry but honestly i think i put the video to good use. i love the old tractors and machinery, i wouldn't be making videos like this if this there wasn't passion behind it
Detroit diesels are great at turning money into noise and smoke :D John Deere was the single worst thing to ever happen to agriculture :( They only bought Chamberlain to eliminate the competition that they couldn't compete with, they pretended to keep it going in order to scam the Australian government out of money and started slowly painting them green to make themselves look good, the second the money ran out, they were gone, and the landfill they started sending instead only shared the paint colour and the model numbers :( All the quality was gone. I spent MANY hours as a kid on a Mark 3 Countryman, third gear in high range was no joke, and is where I learned the hard way why you NEVER put your thumbs or fingers inside the spokes of the steering wheel :P one bump at 25mph+ and that wheel will break anything in it's way :D My favourite thing about the tractor was the offset seating position, gave LOTS of room on the left for a passenger to sit on a milk crate, made it perfect for dad to be able teach me how to operate different equipment. Before comfy cabs and "buddy" seats training someone wasn't a very comfortable experience for anyone. With how ahead of the time Chamberlain were it is very sad that they aren't still in business, or that nobody has ever revived it. John Deere succeeded :( If you can't beat them, get rid of them :(
Great vid mate :)

I thought it was a real working tractor and not a model. 😢 It's still really neat, though.
I grew up with a 9G, C6100, 4080 and 4480. 4480 was the tractor I learnt to drive in
my pop had a supa 90. it WAS a workhorse
You should mention the 55D, that sunk the company in Victoria and sent it to the West
The first tractor I ever drove was a 306 Countryman.
my first was a fergy lol. but the last tractor i drove would have been a chamberlain 4480
Country man was always the 6.354 after the Meadows engine. The 306 is the champion.
306 Countryman was my favorite, best sounding tractor ever, and just a double up of our Massey Ferguson 35 engine.
Did you ask for permission for that piece of video you used at the start?

@@Reds_engineering I think a lot of people would prefer a whole video of that than the absolute tripe that you currently churn out.
Be really nice if you got permission to use footage from other RUclips contributors for this video - pretty cheeky!!

They are also good at copying other designs. Eg. Quadtrack
Axial flow
Twin tracked
