About CAD case, my company got an experience. We sent to our repetitive customer in India. Because our relationship was years, so in that 1 deal we gave CAD, which was new for us too. But then when the container reached the port, the price drop and they asked to renego or couldnt take the cargo. till months the cargo was hold by customs. We sent team to India to release and sell it to other customer. It was so chaotic! We never deal with that customer again and never do CAD.
This is exactly the issue with CAD. 🫢 One work around is to give a minimal amount of days for the buyer to pay for the doc. Then if he doesnt pay fast, you call back the container (still a massive pain in the neck…)
