Thank you for voicing your support and sharing great information during these times. You’ve also done a good job calling out brands that do not have inclusive shade ranges which helps us vote with our dollar. I appreciate everything you do in the beauty community. It’s allowed me to open up my eyes in the beauty industry as well.
As I was watching this, it felt such a treat to have new content from you on a fun subject. I've decided to get out all my blush today and go crazy then cover it up with a mask to go buy milk. Thanks for all you do--it really helps.
I’d love to see more on colour theory like what lip colour to use with what blush and what each colour is going to do for your face to look as natural and effortless as possible. But like colour theory for dummies 101 lol. This was such a great video thank you so much!
When you said "We've been brain washed to believe it's bad to have a dark circle...." I thought "Amen". 10 years ago I started wearing concealer and saw a photo of myself and thought "Why do I look weird". It was the concealer. I have deep set eyes and the darkness was giving a certain dimension to my face. I'm 50 now and found Glossier's stretch concealer - which is fabulous because 1. it's so emollient and 2. it lets my own skin tone come through. I've currently found the Tarte undereye corrector and that is helpful when I literally look like I have black eyes - that's too much dimension and scares people. Thanks for everything!
Thank you for addressing what’s going on in the world in the comments-I appreciate you using your platform for change. Also, LOVING your content recently, you have flown quickly to my favorite RUclipsr spot! Keep being awesome 💕
@@kackie no, thank you! Your channel and the community has become my happy place for 2 years now. Keep being you! Btw, I love your earrings! Where did you get them?

sooo gorgeous!! I just love how you do makeup!!! when you said just use lipstick It just makes me think of how my mom would put on whatever lipstick she was using on her cheeks :) also I order the salt New York cream products can't wait to get them :)
I love the new setup! Looks so good! Edit: OMG I am so self aware of that ‘white reverse raccoon eye’! Also, I don’t use a concealer that is 2-3 shades lighter under the eye. I find that when it’s the same or just like 1/2 a shade lighter it looks better on me. But that’s just me!
I very much appreciate the light content (which is basically why I come to a beauty channel to begin with) on a pretty heavy day. Also, so great to hear about how/why you do what you do when you are putting on makeup. I found your channel from your makeup for close set eyes video, and I find it so helpful when you tell us what happens to the appearance of your eye when you angle your eyeliner in a certain way or about local color.
Thanks to you, I’ve got lip products on my cheeks most days. Glossier Generation G in Crush is one of my faves for a sheer flush (oddly, hate the way it looks/feels on my lips). Also, been showing everyone how to fake a pretty, slight sunburn, which is my current go-to look. You are a genius. ❤️
Hi Kackie! you got me obsessed with cream blushes! Can you make a video on layering cream AND powder products and how to not ruin your makeup pans doing so?? thank you!
ohhhhh.... if I didn't have on full eyemakeup, I would do this right now because Petal is one of my top top favorite cream blushes and I have the 11:11 Roen quad which has a beautiful rosy shade. I love the contour trick across the temples and I often use my blush in the crease to pull a look together.
Love your earrings in every video 😍 so nice. Thanks for making this, I use a lot of cream formulas so this was so helpful as usual. TY, take care gorgeous.
I hope everyone is doing OK out there and getting what they need! We are all people going through tough times, have some grace and compassion! This is a brilliant video. I thought I was literally the only one who is tapping my excess blush into my eye area like that! I just love this technique and it always makes my face just looks so pulled together and naturally flushed and radiant. So many great tips in this video! I think I will need to watch it a second time to really process your technique but I just absolutely love and adore how you teach, entertain, and chat! This is so refreshing and I love the style of video! I would love to see more of them! I could chat make up and skin care all day any day!
Oh and do you know what else, talking about watercolors and tapping… I totally thought of Bob Ross! Love watching his painting videos and following along sometimes too. So relaxing!

Speaking of techniques on how to apply makeup, I don't know really how to apply foundation without looking like I'm wearing a ton of make-up. I don't know why, but it shows so much texture on my dry skin. Also, I don't really know how to apply my RSM concealer and make it last longer than an hour... But I've learned so much about blushes now!
Aw! Okay so I hate the RMS concealer for that reason. I can’t get it to work for anything! And what coverage level and finish are your foundation? Some foundations are flexible and can be worn lightly or built up for more coverage, but some have ONE coverage level and that’s it.
@@kackie mine are very light coverage. That's why it's weird. I have the kosas tinted oil and even that I feel that creates "non skin " texture. When I mix it with my moisturizer it improves, but still I haven't really found the way to even out my skin tone and create a natural base 🤷♀️

Ah! That’s tricky, I hear you. Have you tried maybe something like the Cloud Paint from glossier? It’s a liquid that dries down but still behaves like a cream, and you can just dab dab dab with a sponge. Maybe a soft sponge with any of the products might help. Oh!
