i need help trying to connect monitor to gaming laptop because my regular hdmi port runs 120 fps and under but im trying to connect displayport to laptop because displayport can support 240 fps but gaming laptop does not have display port only monitor
I have acer nitro 5 with the same gpu but with Intel Core i7 10750H, and so far, it's pretty good in 2024 . My prediction is that it will be good for 2 more years until it starts to become old
I've got a similar Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 to yours. It's got a R7 4800H, GTX 1650-Ti, 2x8GB DDR4 SODIMM and sadly a 60hz screen. Was bought around 2021 aswell. Right now it performs nicely since I don't have a higher refresh rate monitor so FPS is always capped at 60, and for schoolwork and light programming.
yeah if you're fine with turning down some settings, that should be good but try to see if you can find any used 30 series laptops for around that price
bro i got gtx 1650 ryzen 5 5600h and 8gb ram i used to get 80 to 90 fps now i am only getting around 40 fps and all games are shuttering like hell any fix ???? plz !
honestly i would just reset the laptop, mine is working fine with no problems so I'm not sure why yours would be underperforming, you can also try watching AdamX on youtube and his fps optimization guides
Excuse me, may I ask a question? I'm about to change my laptop. In my budget range, I have 3 options for second-hand laptops that I'm planning to get: 1. Acer Aspire 5, i5-1235u NVIDIA MX550 2. Asus TUF F15 FX506LH, i5-10300H GTX1650 3. MSI GF63 Thin, i5-10200H GTX1650 Ti Max-Q Are gaming laptops from 3 years ago still worth it for current use? Or should I play it safe and go for a new one (Acer)? Thank you in advance 🙏🏻
Hi, those laptops will definitely be good for gaming right now if you're ok with playing on slightly lower settings depending on the game. I don't think the first laptop is a good option because of its weak cpu and old graphics card, and the 3rd laptop is also not good because of its bad cooling and build quality. I think the second laptop is the best for your needs , if you got more questions let me know!
yo i have the same laptop but I upgraded to 16gb ram but my fps in all games is ode low. fortnite is so stuttery and I have it on performance mode and low settings. idk what to do
hey Sai hope you are doing well I have a question I have the HP victus rtx 2050 and ryzen 5 7535HS 8gb ram Should I get another 8gb ram stick or 2 8gb for dual channel or 2 16gb or one 16 gb with my 8gb already the thing is my laptop is ddr5 so its like 90 dollars for 32gb ram but I want to make videos and still have all of my ram available for Fortnite also w vid sorry this was so long. Also congrats on getting memberships I might join.
I'd suggest getting 2x8 or 2x16, at least the first one. But make sure: 1. That it's DDR5 SODIMM, and not Desktop DDR5 2. That you don't use old stick.
i have same spec laptop but has 144hz screen i have latest gpu driver installed but in prefomance mode all low setting at 1920x1080 100% resolution scale i do not get as good of a performance as you
