    I had the x1 and I HATED them. Ordered these in half a size down as per recommendation on the website for women and I’m in LOVE. The changes they made was perfect. They changed everything I hated. I agree they do slightly stretch out after one use and they fit perfect!

    at the reebok outlet, they nano x2 and nano 6000 were flashsale for $79.99 in a bunch of color ways. and was able to try on x1 vs x2, and the X2 definitely more comfortable. They don't make Speed TR anymore, so was looking for a new shoe to cover gym time. The nanoflex v2 was $40, but didn't feel as comfortable as the Nano X2. I also had every JJ Watt edition, and still liked Speed TRs better. Nano seems to be Reebok's fitness and training shoe. I have one of their floatride for running. Won't lie, I was sitting in the store reading the reviews and videos of X2 and 6000. lol

    Great review!
    The X2 length change really helped me. I can finally go true to size, where in the X1 I either had an 11.5 where my toes hit the end, or a 12 where I had heel slip.
    I feel like the X2 cushion is more dense than the X1, but could just be because I haven’t broken them in yet.
    The decreased toe spring is immediately evident and super helpful!
    And unfortunately, Nike Metcons just aren’t an option for me - too narrow! Maybe someday Nike will come out with a Wide option (never).
    X2 are definitely my favorite shoe as of right now!!

    • @AMRAP
      @AMRAP  2 года назад

      @123italiano321 2 года назад

      @@AMRAP Thanks for your reply! The metcon6's soles are so thin if you hold the shoe in the light it'll shine through. Meaning if I take the insoles out and replace it with my custom insoles I have next to nothing cushioning my feet causing my feet to literally get bruised and blue :o. Luckily it doesn't hurt (yet) but it should not be the case that I get bruised feet.. I ordered the Nano X2's.
      I've been doing some research and all shoes seem to have a thin sole when taking the insoles out 😭

      @@AMRAP Update: i received my Nano's, ordered in 43 (10 in us size) (which is the size of my Metcons) and 42,5 (9,5 us size). I tried on the 43's first and they felt good, better then the metcons but I had a feeling my feet had just a tad too much wiggle room.
      Then I tried the 42,5's and damn they feel amazing!!! They "hug" my feet enough to stop them from having too much movement but don't feel constraining. I haven't had any training shoes feel this good on my feet in years! I would highly reconmend it for people with a bit wider feet and go a half size down of their normal size.
      I am going to train tonight and try them out! There will be a lot of front squats so I am curious how they'll go!

    I have not been working out long (approx 1yr). In fact, most of the exercises you speak of and perform in this video are completely unknown to me. I'm wondering if the X2 is a good shoe to invest in for when I start doing them (futureproofing) or if you would consider them overkill for my situation. If you have any suggestions for a more appropriate shoe, I'd greatly appreciate hearing them.

    • @AMRAP
      @AMRAP  2 года назад +2

      Congrats on your fitness journey starting! A lot of these movements you may never do unless you do CrossFit. Even still, the x2s are a great all around training shoe that can handle anything. I’d say their weakest spot are for deadlifts but if you don’t plan on going too heavy with them, it should be fine. Metcon 7 should be better for heavy lifting but not as good as a running/plyo shoe. Strike Mvmnt haze are somewhere in between nanos and metcons. UA Tribase 4 are also a great choice if you’re not limited in mobility.
