These days singers tend to focus on singing high notes and not really putting heart and feeling into the song. When I listen to leslie songs (especially this one), he didn't focus too much on high notes but it's the heart and feeling that he really focus on. I guess that's what makes him a great legend that no one can ever replace!
who said Leslie couldn't sing wide range? He just sang it so effortlessly that you are fooled to think it's easy. According to 黎小田，the famous song writer/producer, Leslie's range is 15.5, same as George Lam(林子祥）, with better mid-low key vocal. Anyone thinks Leslie's range is narrow certainly doesn't know anything better.
@lesliewons I agree. I like Leslie as well. I am not saying Leslie is not a good singer. However, I have problems with people who went so far to say he has a wider range than Eason, which is not a fact.

He was not at his best. 2) If you understand music and listen to most songs of both singers, you will realize Eason can handle a much wider range than Leslie. No offense. Leslie is a very professional singer and definitely a legend. But it would be very wrong to say Eason can't sing as well as Leslie, at least not at the technical level.

Gor Gor's way of singing is more of peaceful and light.. Eason is more of performance kind. Geez...I prefer Gor Gor's style..even I heard Eason's version first.
