I just finished a playthrough with my brother like this. I was Aragorn and he was Legolas. It was Awesome summing Alexander because he is kind of like Gimli. I used the nobleman's straightsword and a torch the entire game.
I mean: 1) capable swordsman, bowman, horseback rider, and all-around commander 2) knowledgeable about plants, healing, and basic crafting skills (you do not survive that long alone without learning how to at least stitch things back together) 3) a kind and loyal sort who sticks by his friends, and is unafraid of diving headfirst into a doomed battle, so long as it is right He'd do well in Elden Ring. The only reason I could see him not becoming Elden Lord is that he doesn't want power for himself. He could've claimed his title as king of Gondor at any time of his life, iirc, and he didn't until the Return of the King
I know this is just a meme but this makes me want to watch all of Lord of the Rings and then do an actual Aragorn play through in Elden Ring. Also, surprised we didn’t see a clip with the Nightriders or whatever alongside some exposition about the ring wraiths. Those guys always seemed like a Tolkien homage to me

I'm starting an aragon run with the longsword, longbow, and erdsteel knife (his elven dagger). Longsword default AoW even has the character take a stance similar to the one aragon takes when he charges the uruks st helms deep!
Already seen this, but I have to say Aragorn fits so damn well lol. Has the personality, will and determination it takes to play a FromSoftware game and would be a perfect tarnished Elden Lord.

I like that Aragorn's summons are skeletal militiamen. Very fitting seeing as Aragorn summoned the Army of the Dead to fight Sauron. 10/10, canonically accurate

There is a scene in The Fellowship of the Ring where Boromir is running his finger along the broken Narsil and cuts himself on the blade without trying. Aragorn canonically runs a bleed build when he gets Anduril!
This game was so hype when it dropped, especially at the final boss when he finally gets the elden ring to rule them all and he says "its gollum time". Man take me back to the game crazy midnight release.
