At the least it'd give the present Z-Fighters a slightly greater boost as Future Gohan was stronger than Trunks, not that it'd matter much against the stronger versions of 17 and 18. It'd probably be more awkward too, what with two Gohan's meeting at once, and Kid Gohan would be more than old enough to remember the meeting, unlike baby Trunks in the canon series.

Kinda unrelated, but in the Light of Hope fan live action, future Gohan's death theme is called "The Great Saiyaman". Ironic but strangely fitting.
