When I turn on a Braves game this year I'm excited to see the whole lineup watch or miss every middle middle fastball thrown to them. Then after they do that for a few pitches, I just love watching them swing out of their shorts at sliders down and a foot outside the zone. It's the best!!

Snit's deficiencies as a manager have become very apparent this year. I agree with an idea Jake had (if the Braves did make a change) - the Arizona manager - he could do great things with all of our talent, instead of wasting it.

Gotta give up on this season I think. There is a slim chance they make the playoffs and do something, but 2024 felt cursed from the start. Pre-season everything was perfect. On paper I was ready for the best Braves season possible, then Strider got hurt and Comcast dropped Bally for most of the viewers. Those 2 things really seemed to curse the season to me and it never recovered. I look forward to next year's opening day though.

Remember, the Braves were giving bad and mediocre pitchers career games BEFORE ALL THE INJURIES. Something is rotten in the clubhouse. And it starts with Snit. He's either made or allowed to be made really bad decisions. He's a great manager when he doesn't actually have to manage. What'd he do last year? Same lineup every day. I do think Chipper not being around this year has an impact. Players do forget what they've heard before. They do get into bad habits. Snit needs to go after this year and you're going to be in for more of the same "it's a grind" attitude next year if he's not.

At least when the pitching was awful earlier in the window and the lineup had to carry, at least the lineup was showing the team had fight then. This year? The team has as much fight as scared boys being sent to the trenches of the Great War.
I feel a lot of it was the injuries, but not just in the way that you think. It may just be anecdotal, but it's felt like these guys have been getting injured right as they were starting to turn things around. It's the injury plus the demoralizing timing of those injuries which I feel is the 2-punch combo here. The injury timing is just a gut punch to whatever momentum those guys were helping to build up at that moment.

I'm surprised the Braves made it this far with all the "INJURIES," luckily the other teams weren't doing as well either. The tide has turned now, as the Philly's and Mets are making their runs, the Braves are falling behind. No matter what, coaching's only good when you win. I think it's time for a house good cleaning, starting with coaching along with Snits. Snits seems glued to the rail, doesn't show much reaction, win or lose. A pat on the butt or the back can go a long way. No motivation shown. I don't see any comparison or traits to Bobby at all. You could at lease hear Bobby from the dugout. If I'd have a say, I would choose Mark DeRosa with all his baseball knowledge as the Braves next manager. He's still young, player friendly and a fan favorite.

We continue to fall into bad habits with terrible approaches at the plate game to game. We have been late on the FB all season and not even high Velo FB's. We don't even know what we're looking for at the plate. We've desperately needed production out of guys like Olson, Murphy and Harris, and have gotten it for minimal spurts throughout the year from Olson, and that's about it. Can't rely on Ozuna to win us every game offensively especially now since he's not driving the ball outta of the park now and Ozuna's lack of slug currently is showing in the results

Every single inn in he goes out there, w should scream our heads off😊, cause next year baby, we’re really going to realize how important this year for his career will be, looking back. When Sale is sitting down, and our offense is striking out one pitch at a time, 4- 5 pitches an inning , if I were ther I would be screaming and waving my sponge tomahawk I overtime for Ozuna. I was there last April- May when all the hate was melting the atmosphere and raining s**t down on him I. Sale and Ozuna, Braves fans be content with what is good and positive about this year. This is such an impressive season for my prediction at the beginning of April my neighbor cat was given several unmarked cups of cat food which were associated with short term outcomes, that was the Phillies would be in first by a lot, and the Mets would be barely in second place and next the Braves. Golly, I wish I could have gone to Vegas with that prediction 😅. Again thank you Sale, thank you Ozuna. And let’s look forward to Strider next year. Because my intuition says Strider will fill the same role as Sale is doing this year. I’ll have to check next April with my neighbors cat to confirm my intuition.

I keep watching and believing they’ll turn it around, but I don’t see how they will turn it around at this point. Even if they make the postseason, it feels like they’ll get swept losing 1-0 or 2-1 each game. All it takes is one mistake for a pitcher because the offense is so bad. The Braves are consistently being pitched outside and NO ONE wants to go oppo field - where ALL the hits are!!! Everything is either a K or a feeble pop-up/fly-out to the short OF. NO line drives, NO balls smartly put in play, and IF there is contact, it is a pulled weak ground ball instead of a rip to the opposite field. I get that Acuña, Albies and Riley are OUT - that said, Harris, Soler, Ozuna, Olson, d'Arnaud, Murphy and Arcia should know better than to fight against their miseries this year - they KNOW how to hit and KNOW where the #$%&ING opposite field is!!! Urshela, Kelenic Laureano and Duvall have been in the league long enough to know the same. This team's hitting approach has always been stupid with the exception of 2021. When you get close to the playoffs, you're not facing the White Sox or Rockies - playoff baseball is about contact, smart baserunning, clutch rips and the occasional bomb. Yet, this team ALWAYS plays like it's last year in June - and that is why they choked like dogs in two consecutive playoff runs. When September become October, teams that make steady and smart contact, going with the pitch and making adjustments on the fly win and go far.

Folks, we have to wake up and smell the embalming fluid. Charlie gutted out a great performance. Our offense is so impotent, it could not score a single run. The principle that we have such great starters we can still win in the playoffs does not fly when your offense is this weak. This is just not our year.
