He swung at everything, yet he hit everything too. He averaged only 74 strikeouts per season. When you consider even the best hitters today average 100+ strikeouts per season, Vlad was a great contact hitter. I remember going to a game where the Rangers were playing the Brewers, and he swung at a changeup, outside corner, and he still pulled it and hit it well over 400 ft, over the bullpen in left center.
In my opinion he was the greatest hitter of all time. The man could hit anything. He was always such a humble guy. As an Angels fan i was sad to see him go. He was krytonite to so many pitchers. The most memorable hits for me was a ball bounced in front of the plate and he pulled it out of the park and they attempted intentional walk he hit for a double.
On my 9u baseball team when ever we had a big lead coach would tell us to go vlad mode. Swing at every pitch no matter where it is. Mad respect for vlad.
Theres reasons why it was empty… the location of the stadium is a pain in the ass for many people… the majority of the fanbase was from the west part of montreal and the stadium in the east…. If the new stadium was built it wouldve never been empty
Would you guys watch a brand-new top 5 series? Baseball themed of course :)
Anything you churn out, I'm there. Do it!
EXE-Edits I’d definitely watch that
One of the most feared hitters ever. I was surprised if he ever swung and missed because his vision was amazing.

Vlad's numbers with the Angels were insane...why did they trade him to the Dodgers?

Those incompetent Braves commentators knew nothing about Vlady, and showed no respect for the the young Guerrero.
Unbelievable !
I’m only 14 and I only remember bumgarner striking him out 3 times in the World Series, but damn he is clutch as hell
