Hey man I have to say that I am so into what you are saying in these videos. Your perspective is extremely rational and a brilliant insight to how high end shooters think and the attention to detail that clients that are able to pay well expect out of the creatives they hire. The content you are trying to provide to photographers is a rarity when looking at all the "tuts" out there.. I went to a commercial portfolio school, assisted working commercial shooters for years, worked in a rental house, etc....What you are focusing on is so far beyond the normal "how to light" you find on most of YT or tutorials. You are showing how even after a great capture...there is so much more to think about. The importance of localized post-work we need to train our eyes to see. The things the client may never be able to pinpoint or explain as an issue but we see and correct it prior to giving them the opportunity to critique! Well done!
I saw a lot of photography teaching videos since I started exploring my hobby.but since I have joined Karl's course in less then 1 month I have learned a lot,lot... more!! He is an artist in is Kraft and has great teaching skills,in all areas of photography.thanks Karl for sharing your knowledge!!
Hi Karl. It is truly incredible watching the master at work, your reputation and your work is truly second to none, it specks volumes, truly watching an artist at work is absolutely breath taking, knowing what to look out for is I guess something that you learn over a period of time, and having the right training is incredibly important in the first place, as some people will say this and some people will say that, but it all depends on what you want your images to say to the client or indeed to the world, truly an amazing and intuitive vlog as always Karl. Thank you and stay safe, bye for now
This video was incredibly helpful! As a student, I really value your expertise. You pointed out things I definitely wouldn't have noticed. Thank you! :)
Hi Karl! Thanks for another great video! Always learn something new from you! Beside the great content, I noticed you changed your display from Eizo, is this something better you found?
Karl, I've noticed that you've worn this same T-shirt in multiple videos. I've been trying to figure out what the main design is, and I just can't. I notice the text "RAW" at the bottom. Would you mind explaining what the design on top is supposed to be? Thank you.
very valuable info thanks Karl, I was wondering though if you have a tutorial on Karl Taylor Education website about shooting the TomFord Black Orchid perfume bottle? I was really intrigued to see how it was created
Great video and great points. Question: What model touch screen/pen monitor are you using? I'd like to check them out. Thanks and stay safe Karl. Philip
@@VisualEducationStudio Thanks Karl. Are you talking about either the Small, Medium or Large Wacom Intuos Pro models? I've was considering getting one of those (possible the small one) but never could figure which size I would prefer. Thanks again... Philip
Hi Now about a video on the finer tricks of the trade on fine art printing. My challenge is about a tutorial on the specific processing taking the best image you have and showing the full editing steps on screen with the image and how it is saved to perserve the finest detail into the verious sized for printing it out with the results. Including how to correctly get the best match and calibration of the screen and printer plus the best photo papers to use.
Thank you but it's actually derived from knowledge and the study of science and photography. Successful images come from invoking emotion, delivering information and understanding the human biology related to visual processing. When you combine these elements it becomes easier to understand what makes effective images that inspire and move people rather than just 'look good'. That's what thousands of photographers I teach on my platform benefit from.
Once again, one of the few people on RUclips that actually knows what he is talking about.
Thank you.
Details. Logic. Psychology. Common Sense. Thanks Again.
Thanks Peter

That one is a brand 'G Star' and my usual ones are from 'Pretty Green'
Nice stuff per usual Karl. Question: for your commercial work, do YOU do most of your own editing or are you farming it out?
Hi this was members work but for my own work I retouch most of it myself unless I'm really busy and then I farm it out to Gild Studios
Thanks for sharing
My pleasure

Great video and great points.

Philip
Thank you, this was a Wacom Cintiq but I usually use a standard wacom tablet with an Eizo screen
@@VisualEducationStudio Thanks Karl. Are you talking about either the Small, Medium or Large Wacom Intuos Pro models? I've was considering getting one of those (possible the small one) but never could figure which size I would prefer. Thanks again...
Philip
I have the intuos pro medium - you'll find my two recent review videos of the medium vs the small and why on my youtube channel.
@@VisualEducationStudio Thanks. I will check it out for sure.....
what monitor is that your using to edit with pen?
This is a Wacom Cintiq but I prefer a normal Wacom tablet with an Eizo
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
