I was very sad to see Afro Blue voted off. I didn't even finish watching the rest of the season. But I was so glad when they left, they left in the TRUE Afro Blue style. Classy and Jazzy! God bless Afro Blue! I still love them and watch their time on Sing Off daily!
i feel that afro blue's style and class were unparalleled at the start of the season, and more than that they seemed to have a lot more fun then. but as the season progressed the judges comments seemed to always be saying, "you need to dumb down your arrangements", which afroblue took to heart and tried to do but it ended up making them seem inconsistent. all in all i feel like they were cheated of a place in the finals :(
Shawn? Pissed. PTX? Pissed. Nick? Pissed. Urban Method? Clapping like nothing else because they know that the only reason they even made it past guilty pleasure week is because they had a rapper. What a SHAME that Afro Blue had to miss the finale, and what an even further shame that the judges put the wrong group in the bottom two. Aires and Urban Method should've been the bottom two, and no sing battle should've happened. Afro Blue got SCREWED. What a crying SHAME.
Wow! I know I'm late but I think everyone knows who was truly the best group. I mean the innovative twists on common songs, flawless transitions and modulations, pitch perfect vocals and pin point base lines (I could go on). I didn't even watch this show but now I'm kinda glad I didn't. What a travesty. And they left with such class...even the exit was flawless!!!!! Bullish Cornish Hen!!!!!
At 2:06, the beatboxer from Pentatonix just shakes his head like "I don't believe this" and everyone (including DA) was thinking the exact same thing. And now we all know why Sing-Off's ratings tanked. Two of the all-so-wise judges kicked off Pentatonix's only real competition and the only hope of a good finale. Oh well, I'm still (not-so-patiently) waiting for your album Afro Blue!!! Please get on that ASAP kthanksbye
@BeenFoundMissing You must be deaf/blind. Afro Blue was the most versatile group on the show and adjusted to EVERY genre sat before them, while doing it with style, ingenuity, and creativity. Aires were a 1 pony show...and you know that

I love how there is no reality show themed in the Sing-off. I love how the groups are all friends with each other and that they are a family behind the singoff stage... I hope i can be there with them to feel what it's like.

Lets keep it funky...Committed tore it up last season, there's no way they would let Afro Blue win. Its all political. You can't show a consistent group of young black people being positive. It would ruin the economy. That's why Shawn wasn't even surprised, but disappointed. Besides...no one came close to what they did. Tho Delilah was amazing!
You can tell that Sean was OVER the other judges decisions....I have a feeling he will try his best to get them connections and help them with their own record
@TwystydElegance - I LOVE how you can see, at 3:32, that even Nick Lachey is dismayed at Afro Blue being voted off. He shakes his head like: "Man, what the hell were they thinking?"..LOL. I was quite surprised how stunned and upset Pentatonix looked at the decision as well. I wonder if they feel as if they were slightly cheated out of an all out cliff-hanger finale with their main rival gone? Nonetheless, Afro Blue got the exposure that they so rightly deserved. Can't wait for their album!
There is no way that Urban Method and Darthmouth Aires should have been in the finals with Pentatonix..as sorry as those two groups were, they GAVE that win to Pentatonix :)
the most "suckest" "what the hell" "are you freakin kidding me"moment in television history... one year later and it still sucks to watch....but the worst part of it all is that the show is cancelled...

I love how fake Nick sounded congratulating Dartmouth, Shawn and Pentatonix looked pissed, and everyone was balling their eyes out. It makes no sense that AB lost to Dartmouth. DARTMOUTH. I hope their record deal (fingers crossed!) slaps Ben & Sarah hard in the face.
4th place. I was in shock when this happened and I couldn't believe DA got the pick. I thought Pentatonix was not as consistent as AB. I loved DA, but AB was definitely better. I'm not sure why Ben went with them. I thought his reasoning was flawed.
The judges needed to tell them to change their style to see if they could do anything other than the jazz style. As soon as they found out they couldn't, they told them to go back to their roots. I loved Afro-Blue, but the Aires proved they could do genres they weren't used to doing, and they were much more consistent.
They would have done better in the long run as far as having an actual career in music, main stream anyway. Dartmouth isnt the type of group where you would buy an album from. They're like flashy, broadway type group. Afro blue should've went over them. Or Urban Method should've been the group leaving if you want to go off an entire season, but hey noting you can do about it;
this might have been one of the worst decisions i've ever seen. urban method should have been gone. the aires and afro blue were both so much better on a regular basis imho
Everyone should be able to tell that Sean was just throwing AB a bone as he already knew DA was moving on. I mean you have a group that's been in the bottom 3 times before compared to another group thats just nailed it all the time and is first time in the bottom. IT WAS A PITY BONE AB just think about that and reason it out for yourself.
