It's an anti-war song, mocking Putin and Lukashenko, who gave him a tractor for his birthday.
Wow , so interesting 😄 Thanks Croatia for supporting ❤️
🏆 i like it! 👍
MAMA IS RUSIA
And Nona is a grandmother = Soviet Union
AND tractor is Belarus
"SC" is GLAGOLJICA, first ever written letter in Europe created by Croats, has multiple meanings from an orgasm to an annoyance. Amazing anti-war song! MAMA SC! ❤🇭🇷
Mi smo uz Ukrajinu. I mi razumijemo kada psihopat odluči zaratiti protiv svojih susjeda.
12 point from me! Superb performance. ❤💗❤IT! 👏🙌👏🇭🇷 SC! SC! SC! SC! ❤🚜❤🇭🇷 ❤Farmers ❤tractor 🚜BRAVO LET 3
Memorable, simplistic lyrics with cleverly chosen metaphores and allusions addressed against all totalitarian regimes and aggressors, past and present, all in a delicious form of postmodern, neoavant-garde, theatrical, punk rock opera-performance, with aesthetic reminiscent of Laibach and Rammstein.
Dynamical and chaotic staging is brimming with elements of socialist realism visual art style and army props, to emphasise even more the subversive message of the song.
Clearly an anti-war, political satire filled with astute dark humor and a touch of deliberate obscenity (Let3's 'trademark').
Bold, witty, captivating and extremely refreshing!
Respect and admiration! Thank you for this artistic masterpiece of 21st century!
12 POINTS, of course!!! 🤘🏻❤🌋

Yeah , I got it)
I also was surprised that EBU have allowed this song. I really love it as a performance on its own merits. The relevancy to Europe in these sad, crazy times pushes it up another level.
The semifinals are televote only this year. Under that voting system I predict this entry will 'win' Semifinal 1 by a landslide. Just like it did in Croatia's own Dora selection competition. Momentum will also make it a strong candidate in the Final. I think Liverpool will love Let 3.
You look very beautiful and lot beautiful greetings from Croatia
Thank you)))🙈❤️
So much to unwrap here, nothing about this song or the performance is accidental, it is a full package with a strong anti-war message.
Mama = Motherland ( or Mother Russia)
ŠČ = Slavic/Russian alphabet letter representation, "Z" reference but can also be interpreted as a word with various meanings, like a salute or a F*** U or whatever suits the situation.
Tractor: Putin got one for his 70th from Lukashenko, president of Belarus, also a reference to any army vehicle
Moron = Dictator
Crocodile Psychopath: Boris Johnson compared Putin to a crocodile, also a "zombie" street drug reportedly widely used in Russia and "crocodile tears"
Mama loved (supported) a moron, now he is waging war: "Mum, I am going to play, Mum, I am going to war!"
Lead singer has Stalin mustache (also a reference to dictators in general) and the one with missiles, dressed like Rasputin, has Lenin written on his forehead.
Drag military outfits - taunting Putin (and all conservatives) for his views of LGBTQ+ community.
Thank u for explanation) ❤️ Subscribe 🙏🏻
It's an anti-Putin song, full of hidden meanings, metaphores and allegories.
"Mama ŠČ" stands for "Mother Russia" (there is a letter ŠČ in the Russian alphabet but not in the Croatian one). By singing about the tractor they are referring to Lukashenko's birthday present to Putin ("tractor Belarus") or to Belarus itself and its relations with Russia. By singing "that little vile psychopath" they are referring to Putin, etc.
The song has a very strong, antiwar message. He sings: "Mama, idem u rat! / "Mother (meaning "Mother Russia"), I'm going to war!".
They are dressed like Stalin and Lenin (that guy wearing missiles wrote on his forehead "NJINLE", which is a wordplay for LENIN / LENJIN in Croatian).
LET 3 is a punk band from Rijeka, a port city in western Croatia. They use a lot of local dialect words with many Italian loan words ("Armagedon nona", meaning "Armageddon grandma" or "nonna" in Italian, which is probably a reference to the former USSR).
Hope it helps...
Yeah ❤
ŠČ❤️👍👍👍
It is definitely an anti-war song. In one interview the members talk how the song is about dictators of the world who see it as their own plaything. It could be about previous/current/future dictators. But when asked if it is about Putin - yes. And many interpret the words "Mama ljubila morona" - Mother Russia giving a kiss to a moron. And when saying "Onaj mali psihopat, mali podli psihopat" , it is translated to that little psychopath, that vile little psychopath (Putin in this case). As for the main part of "Mama kupila traktora", it means mum bought a tractor. And many connect it to president of Belarus Lukashenko buying a tractor for Putin's birthday. Recently, it was mentioned that "Belarus" is a name of a brand of tractors. So when said in the song that mum bought a tractor, it would mean that Russia bought Belarus and controls them in the invasion of Ukraine. There is a lot more about the letter ŠČ, and the writing on that man's forhead (NJINLE=LENJIN when you say it fast enough repeatedly). I have forgotten some things, but it is a message indeed. And the whole chaos - a feeling that war creates.
P.S. The band has always been like that and we love it :)
P.S. x2 Hello from Croatia! We are with you до перемоги

The rockets stand for the nuclear war that Putin always say to bang it to Europe or Ukraine! The bomber man is Lenin and the singer is Staljin. Armageddon grandmama is a metaphor for the TV shows in Russia with their msg about that russia have to send nuclear weapons to the west. This is a anti war song who show what one Psycho can kick the world. The tractor stands for the gift of Lukashenko for Putins 70s birthday! Mama Šč is Russia she loves the moron! The chaotic part when he sing Mama I’m gonna to play I’m going to make war stand for the chaos of war! The crocodile, evil psycho is Putin but can stand for any dictator! The crocodile psycho is a connection between the drug crocodile in Russia and him. The roses in the ass stand for the “we just want peace and safe the Ukraine people from nazis… bla bla bla”… they all looks like drag queens as an support for the lgbtq community in Russia but show at the same time that minority always be first attacked by autocratic regimes! On the end they are naked like in the fairytale of kingdoms new clothes… it’s a big satire as an punk rock opera! I hope you all understand now the song and the staging better! But there are much more metaphors :))) oh yes and the drag queen on the LED stands for Wagner, Kadirov and all people who support the aggression on your country! ;)
croatian is slavic language, like ukrainen, thaz why most of slavs can understands at some levels each others and thaz why you can understand some of words in a song, some slavic languages are almost same so some nations can understand each others using their own languages, like czech and slovak, bosnians, croatians, serbs and montenegriners can each speak their own language with each others. i can actually read ukranien and understand most important parts to make sence what is writen about and answer it in english for example..,
Yeah , it’s true , and it’s cool 😄
pozdrav iz Hrvatske.... slava Ukraini
Heroyam Slava ❤️
Meaning of the song:
The lead singer is dressed as the Soviet leader Stalin
The drag outfits criticise the bad treatment of LGBT+ people in Russia
The outfits also symbolize how many dictators are ''macho'' on the outside but eccentric on the inside
''Mom bought a tractor'' = Lukashenko (Belarus president) gave Putin a tractor for his 70th birthday
''Mom loved a m*ron'' = ''Mom'' (Mother Russia) loved its president
''That little psychop*th'' = Russian president
''Crocodile psychop*th'' = ''Krokodil'' (Crocodile) is a drug popular in Russia that makes people act like zombies
''Njinle'' which is written on the forehead of the bald missle guy = anagram of ''Lenin''
''Pajču'' which is written on one rocket = anagram of ''Čupaj'' (to pull out), which is opposite of ''Put in''
Let 3.su originalni, iskreni i pijevaju istinu o životu sa kojim smo okruženi.I baš zbog toga nema potrebe da se nitko čudi niti da se isčuđava !!!
Yes it is important that he is BOTH Stalin and Hitler!

PSIHOPAT MINE ON PUTIN
@fapmashina1
prije 3 tjedna
This is much more serious song than it seems at the first glance! It's anti-war and anti-dictatorship protest rock opera like song and brutal mockery of "little vile psychop**h" which is interpreted by majority of music professionals as Putin himself and all other mad dictators, played by the Let 3 - famous experimental and often extremely provocative Croatian art punk rock band that is active over 30 years and which also had numerous collaborations in theater peroformances including those with very serious directors.
Lyrics description: "Mama ŠČ" = Mama Russia (among Russians "mother" symbolises their country), ŠČ is letter from the Russian alphabet.
"Mother bought a tractor" = Belarus dictator Lukašenko gave to Putin tractor for his 70th birthday.
"Mother loved a moron" = Mother Russia loved Putin.
As i've written "little vile psychop**h" is also Putin and all mad agressors like him!
Let 3 outfits and styling: military like clothes as the representation of all mad war thirsty dictators in combo with drag queen like clothes and makeup (provocation to homophobic Russian President).
Bald man is wearing dark scarf - alusion to Rasputin, another reference to Russia and on his forehead there's inscription "NJINLE" which is Croatian word play for LENJIN (NJIN + LE = LENJIN).
Nuclear rockets are rather self-explanatory: "little vile psychop**h" from the Kremlin is constantly threatening with usage of nukes!
Warm greetings from Croatia

Your reaction was like mine. I didn't like it but when it was explained I appriciate it a lot, but to be honest... It won't be in my playlist.
the past, the present and, unfortunately, the future of our continent is presented in a sarcastic way, we all remain naked and exposed to dictatorial regimes that leave a mark in the history of mankind

It is about Putin and is not happy song. It is great song.
LYRICS EXPLAINED Х Tractor is a reference to Lukashenko's birthday gift for Putin. In the song, Putin is described as "little vile psychopath". The vocalist represents Stalin, while other guy has written on his head NJINLE (word game: LENIN). Mother ŠČ is a metaphor for mother Russia, and crocodile is a drug popular in Russia that makes people behave like zombies. Lyrics could be translated like this: Mama bought a tractor Mama loved a moron Bridge: (The most chaotic part of the song; letters of Croatian alphabet) Mama im going to war! That little psychopath Little viscous psychopath Crocodile psychopath Mama, I'm going to war fun facts: Let 3 has been on Croatian music stage for over 30 years, they are known for making provoking, satirical songs.
Let 3, najbolji... Mama ŠČ
It's antywar message.
APSOLUTE MASTERSONG!!! Top preformanse and message!,,, CROATIE. 12 point!!
Hello. I am from Croatia and I don't want to explain anything about the "meanings" in this performance, because the core of the music is not in explaining and thinking, but in FEELING, while it is playing, and later, when you repeat it in yourself or sing it loud. I don't like this performance at all. It is shocking and it is over the top. It is also disturbing. And, please, you apologetics from Croatia, don't start explaining that the war is disturbing as well. It would be very lousy and stupid to write on the profile of this young man from Ukraine (that the war is disturbing...) and, as some of you probably know, Croatia experienced also all the ugliness of the war and all the braveness of defending itself, all by itself... We all know what it was, and how people were hurt and lost their homes, and the whole city of Vukovar was destroyed to the ground together with the citizens, and after that the occupator's forces committed ugly war crimes, torturing wounded people from the hospital and killing them in the fields, and we all lived it through. And Let 3 didn't play one song about that heroic city. And it"s ok, nobody says they have to. But don't build the image of them as some heroic fighters for freedom, because they are not. They are not the kind of fighters the Croatian fans want them to make here... they are huge trollers. Cynics. They are trolling ESC, but also every war, and every fight, even the defending, not only attacking one. So, who are the dictators on the stage - hard to tell if you don't take it literally, if you want to understand the metaphor.
And what is the feeling of this music? As I see, when this music is being listened to for the first time, people don't even hear the music, all of them primarily *watching* what is going on... Really? You have to WATCH the music? Yes, as the author of this video said, it is the theatre, political theatre, very empty, shocking and not exclusive and artistic as some want to show and confirm that it is. So, I am from Croatia, I love rock, I also like punk gigs, I think this one has catchy parts, and also it is a musically pretty good song, but this performance is not ok, not for ESC, it is disturbing and it is very shallow. Because great art can also be shocking, but it has something underneath that shocking part. This one here has nothing. It is empty, messages people talk about are their own, not the part of the artistic statement. They never ever used any names, not of the aggressor's president, not of anybody. All the interpretations come from all around, not from their "work", and not from the authors either.
Thank you for your video, I like it very much, because it is very sincere and you are not saying 'cool', 'I like it' and so on, when you are confused or not sure what to say, and many many do so. That's the reason I think your video is really very good, you were sincere, you said some things very clearly and then you took time to think it over. Nobody liked this performance (excluding the song) at first sight. And why Croatia sends it as the representatives, that's a long story, and my comment is already way too long.
I send you best wishes, to you and your beautiful country and people. Stay strong, we truly hope the madness will be stopped soon, very sorry you have to go through all this.
Greetings from Croatia. Slava Ukrajini. 💙💛

Yeah, I’m trying to make a true reaction, if I don’t like something or I’m confused- o show it , not like other Eorofans who makes a reactions - every second smiling, and saying “it’s cool’amaizing,I love it” even if they don’t:)

@@anvirgo Thank you, I also believe and wish that you come one day to our country. You know, there are a lot of connections between Ukraine and Croatia, even from very ancient history. There is also a book written about it. We feel deep compassion with all you are going through. And I have to say once again: I am so glad that you watch the things critically, and something even more important - because it is CRUCIAL for all arts, and especially for music - that you are paying attention to your feelings, what feelings the music (and a performance) brings to you. Good luck with your observations and your channel. And once again, God bless you all, we all just want those terrible things to be stopped. Stay strong.
