The hadith about Khorasan is weak, the same hadith from Shaam is authentic but due Disputed territory Pakistan scholars uses this to keep the war going in Afghanistan by mentioning black flags from khorasan.

And also majority of the empires that you mentioned were actually native to the current day area of afghanistan like ghaznavids, ghurids and samanids etc
Mr Pashtuns were part ofthose empires take example india and Soviets supported tajiks of Afghanistan against Pashtuns but after 10 they failed to defeat Pashtuns.
